Picture of me, and older brother with my newly acquired (wild caught)Indigo that my mom got me for Christmas,....boy, those were the good ol' days, before they became endangered. I remember back around this same time, two older boys I knew from the neighborhood, came to my house wanting to sell me a "GIGANTIC" 8-1/2 footer that they had caught......it was the biggest, fattest Indigo that I have ever seen in my life to this day !!!!............but I couldn't afford the eight bucks back then !!!!......Wow !!!!! ...it's impossible to think today,that those two friends of mine wanted LESS than $1.00 per foot for such an awesome,revered creature !!!!......and now they cost around $1100.......boy,..talk about inflation !!!!......but those were different times.
