I went to put my BP in a bath tonight, and as she soaked her tail 1/4 only, I saw a few tiny bubbles rise to the surface. I'm sure it was just trapped air from the warm tap water, but it sparked this little trivia question- do snakes pass gas? Burp? Anyone know why not?

I'm a light sleeper and they wake me up with all that gas passin. Doesn't smell as bad as the dog though. hee hee
