NEED ADIVCE SO I CAN SWITCH TO FROZEN/THAWED

So its starting to get a little expensive running to the pet store to get multiple rats a week. I need some suggestions on how to switch to frozen/thawed. Some of them have made the switch, while one who always has been a little finicky hasn't...Any tips?

get them nice and warm and it should be fairly easy

You'd do better to find a local breeder. How many rats a week are you using? Look around, you'll be surprised how many people are nearby that breed rats and can hook you up way below pet store prices.
