I was marveling at the slight differences in the spider yellow belly compared to just the spider gene and thought I'd share.
These two won't be breeding each other ;) he's a pet(huge corkscrew)she's got some excellent choices down the road, clown, black pastel, fire, etc..

Excellent comparison photos (and very nice looking BPs).
I wonder if the fading around the Spider YB's bands is typical of other morphs that are mixed with the YB?

Thanks, taken out of boredom, lol.
It's the only yb combo we have at the moment, but that's soon to change :D

Nice! she is beautiful and too bad he can't breed! He's got nice patterning!I have always liked that spider boy, we got him when he was a tiny hatchling in 08.
He can't hold his head still for nuttin and slowly but surely he's getting worse at snagging his food :(
He's quite a butt muncher and rarely snags his prey head first if I let it roam so I hold everything I feed him by the tail and he eventually gets his teeth on it and wraps it.
He went 8 months with no visible signs of wobbles or corkscrewing, then he started and it's gotten progressively worse.
He eats well and always has, no signs of stress or any other issues :shrug01:
I haven't the heart to even try to breed him but he still gets his share of handling like everyone else.
The spiderbelly on the other hand should hit easily 1500+ grams for next year's breeding,
she's a fantastic eater as long as I feed her asf's, lol.

how sweet! I'm glad he's got a good place with you. So sad that he has problems, but good to know he is well cared for. And woa! She's huge, that is awesome! Hope she makes you loads of healthy YB spiders!
