A member of Fauna and Pangea forums, Andrew Schnell, works as an undergrad/lab tech at the Autumn Lab Gecko Adhesion Research Facility at Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon!

Yeah-it was pretty cool!!

They were talking about how geckos are able to adhere to vertical surfaces, and how that ability might be utilized by humans.

They also discussed how shark skin is basically bacteria repellent, and how they hope to develop a product like it.
