Ovulation or just building?

So I took a pic of my spider girl lying inverted and bloated looking (Jan 10th)...at the time I didn't think she looked big enough to be ovulating....

What do you think?? :shrug01:

I'm confused a bit b/c she started going into a shed a day after this pic. Is she just building and had a normal shed? It seems too early for her....she didn't lay until April last year and I've followed the same schedule.

All opinions are appreciated!!

I think she may just be building but it's hard to tell the way she's laying. Post ovulation shed usually takes place 14-16 days after ovulation so it may be. She DOES look pretty chunky. :)

Without a better pic I would say still building. The easiest way to tell is hold them with the tail hanging and you will actually see an enlarged area aprox 2/3 the way down the body. Someyimes you can even make out individual egg shapes. Good luck either way though

I have never scene a female laying upside down during ovulation, she's either gravid or building still.
When was her last shed?

She shed about a week after the picture... So around Jan 17-20 or so....
