I keep seeing people say that they think enchis look like normals, and I just don't get it... does this look like a normal to you? :p I was lucky enough to pick this girl up in a trade a couple months ago, and now that her quarantine period is over with I just HAD to snap some pictures of her. She's at 600 grams right now and eats like a horse!

Nice Chris!

I've seen plenty of Enchis that do look Normal though...I don't know why people even buy those!!! I guess because they are usually a lot cheaper than a smoking Enchi!

no question about this enchi........I had been looking for a very long time before I found the perfect enchi. I was not going to settle for a low grade "normal" look alike

:(

This WAS my enchi - before she was stolen from the breeder's facility, never to be seen again, though I still check out posts of pictures of stunning enchi's to see if someone posts pictures of her.

She is the standard to which I hold all enchi's to - and as such, I'm having a hard time finding my ideal animal.

She's the model for my logo also.

The picture my logo is based on:

So - now I had to settle for this guy. http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/bengal-enchi-pinstripe/

Yup - that exact animal is mine - he was one of Kevin's holdbacks, but since we're friends, he let me acquire him. He's also poss het pied, and Kevin believes he'll prove out. So he's breeding to a pied and two proven het pieds this season. And later in the season, I'm putting him to my lesser female.

here's our "normal" looking black back enchi trying to learn his lot in life...:D

To be my ideal enchi it can't have spots, this boy fit the bill perfectly and adding genetic black back to it doesn't hurt my feelings a bit.

I keep going back and forth on enchis. I see a normal looking one and I say I don't wann do it, then I see one like Deb's, Jerry's or yours rabernet and I'm like hmmmm. I love some of the combos, but I refuse to work with a morph I don't like the look of simply to get the combos. So no Mystics, specials, spectors or such for me. The enchis are growing on me everytime I see a stunner like these guys and gals.

Thank you :) i will let you know when he breeds :) and once my female enchi sheds i will post pics of her as well she is very nice too :D it took some searching to find the right male and i did pay a little more for him but anyone who is thinking of getting an enchi don't waste your time on anything less than a perfect specimen!!!!

I never work with any animal, or obtain any animal just to get that particular mutation. It's one reason it's taken me longer to build my collection that others who started the same time that I did. If I'm going to work with lesser's, it has to be the best lessers I can find - even if it means my search lasts me over a year.

Same with my black back cinnie (which paid off in spades last season when he produced all black back cinnies and black back normals when bred to a black back normal I have).

Every time I've wanted to add a new mutation to my collection, it's never been a quick acquisition. I believe quality in, quality out. :D
