Panda Pieds here we come!

I'm all set to have a 1/8 chance at some Panda Pieds in a few years!

Picked up this male Black Pastel 100% het pied from Colin Weaver of ECRB:

And I put down a deposit on this beauty from Pied Peddler! A female black pastel pied. I don't normally go for the ones with just color on the head, but I want her genetics and she's still beautiful. Her sister was more 50/50 in color/white but the breeder kept her.

Can't wait to get to the Panda Pied! When I make two I want to trade one for an albino pied.

great looking animal lauren,,, i am going for one to, but the cheaper way and with a cinny instead,,, here are my pics, i hope i get aleast 1.2 cinnys het pied from her, but a pair would be awesome,,, will see..:thumbsup:

Congrats on the pickups. I'll have three chances at it this season. My Pewter Pieds have locked up a few times, and my Pewter Pied male has locked with one of my Pewter het Pieds. Two of the three girls are monsters for their ages....the Pied genes I'm working with are amazingly large.

Colin is great and I would buy from him again in a heart beat. Also Paul of Pied Peddler is a great guy to work with, we chatted tonight. I can't wait to afford the rest of my black pastel pied...I'm going to do my taxes this weekend and I'm sure I can buy her after that!

Hey Lauren, that pied is the one they had for sale thats a two face is what they called it right? Black pastel on one side and normal color on the other. Very nice! I have 2 females growing right now. A pied and a super black pastel. This next year I'll be looking for a pied het black pastel male so I can try my luck with the panda. Also breed him with my pastel butter. I'll be watching.

Yup, she's the 'two face'. I'll hunt down a pic of her other side to show the more normal color.

I <3 high white pieds and just have to say - Brandon that one with the white nose you posted is simply lovely!! My new favorite pied (regardless of whatever other morphs it has, just love that white face)

Thanks April. The white nose/face is my female Pewter Pied. The smaller male Pewter Pied has white lips similar to Lauren's BP Pied. I'm also adding Enchi into the mix to try for more pattern. I'm going for a silver and white Pied in the long run......Super Pewter Enchi Pied. Who knows what we will end up with.

You guys love those high odds!lol I far as I know there has only been one pandapied produced? cool but odds are to much for me. I want a male spied I love them.!

Only one has been produced because they were working with 1/16 odds by using black pastel het pied. Using one visual pieds with the co-dom brings you to 1/8 or using those pewter pieds brings the odds to 1/4...those are odds I can work with! Same odds as working with Albino Pied.
