I was pretty excited going into this season that I would be able to get some offspring on the ground from this. However, he never seemed interested and is a bit small, but I keep throwing him in each week. I saw this when I got home tonight and hope it continues fow awhile. Dont they make a cute couple?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a trident blast?

There is so much coming out it's hard to keep up on. Jon at Next World finally produced this in a breeding last year and posted it in a few forums including this one. He decided to call it the Trident based on what was posted.

I love granite stuff and saw a peppered pin he had up for sale here and wanted it. He stated it never had thrown a granite for him at that time and wasn't sure if it was a granite gene or something else. He was using the name funky at the time. I ended up gettting a funky lemon blast and was suprised when I saw what came out of the breeding last year.

I don't beleive there are many out there and I'm happy to be able to explore this.

Thanks everybody, I need all the luck I can get. From what I understand it's not easy to get a visual Trident. Maybe Jon has more info now on this, I don't know.

I seem to have done well with this little guy. I got an 8 and 13 egg clutch on the ground plus this big girl today. Still waiting on a couple more girls to go. Can't wait for the end of August to get here!

First clutch was cut last night and a couple are up already today. I like what I see so far but no pastels or pastel crosses in the eggs. I did however get some normals out of this one.
