New Camera!

I came home from work today and my wife said we had to go to the store, didnt say what we were getting so I didnt think much of it. Turns out we were going to pick out a new camera for me for an early B-Day present:D. I dont know much about them so the lady at the store helped me pick out a Canon Power Shot SX40 HS (whatever that means:rolleyes:) I havent really messed with it and Im going to have to adjust my lighting but heres the first few I took with it.

i have a cannon powershot g12 i won at a photography convention in dallas 4 months ago, i love cannons, and i never win anything, very nice pics and amazing animal you have there! check out youtube for camera tutorials! good luck..

Hey bob I have a cannanSX 30 IS and, when I use white background its hard to actualluy get it to look wjite so the snake will be off a little bit. If you come across this a figiure it out please let me know im no good with new cameras
