coleonyx hatchling gows up!

Remember my little Coleonyx v. variegatus hatchling I posted in June? Well, it's finally growing up... weighs 2 grams, hatched on 6/9/04.

Geez Marcia, those are tiny!!! How much did it weigh when it hatched? Cute little guy....

It looks great Marcia! Yeah I would say it’s tiny. Only 2 grams and it’s 1 ½ months old. Wow!

I have no idea what it weighed when it hatched, because my gram scale doesn't do tenths of grams and it didn't even register a weight! I've hatched a couple more since then, but this little one is so tame now and eats like a little savage! They feel like velvet when you touch them, their scales are so fine. but everytime i see this word "Coleonyx" i think of a colon and it disturbs me greatly

The eggs are about the size of a Jelly-Belly candy when they are laid. Robin, I kind of cringe when I hear the word 'colon' since I had 1/3 of my large intestine removed last summer... Gee, does that make me a "semi-colon?"
