Hi,

Although I've never seen his boas, I have purchased several milk snakes from Ted at Susquehanna Ectotherms. They are outstanding animals, probably the best in my collection. Service and shipping were excellent as well. Highly recommended!

Do not hesitate to buy snakes from Ted. They are all well represented and super high quality. He only sells top notch animals. He is one of the good guys.

I purchased 1.0 BCI (Kahl Stripe) from Ted Thompson (Susquehanna Ectotherms) at Daytona this year. This boa is just getting better and better with every shed. He is robust, eating like a pig, and easily one of my favorites. In fact, I was so impressed, I went ahead and purchased two more females from him recently and they should be arriving on my doorstep soon.

Both in person and in e-mail, Ted is a great guy to deal with- he is quick to answer all of my questions and prompt in e-mails. At the show, all of his animals looked top notch, from BRB's to colubrids, and I would gladly do business with him again.

I bought a nice healthy male hognose from Ted at the MARS show. I am very pleased with the purchase and expected to have a bit of trouble switching the boy to f/t mice...but...he took 2 f/t pinks 3 days after I brought him home! I am VERY happy with this little guy.

I've had no luck with the email I sent him asking him what locale hognose he was (looking for a gf for the boy). I'll be trying again in a bit.

I bought a pair of smooth-scale sand boas from Susquehanna at MARS. Even though there was another vendor who had them slightly cheaper, I bought from Ted because he actually asked me a couple questions to make sure I knew how to take care of them and seemed genuinely interested in their well-being. They were well worth it, as they are pounding f/t fuzzies no problems and are generally great snakes! Not every vendor at a show actually cares what happens to their animals once they leave the table. Good guy!

The two new Kahl Stripe females I purchased from Ted after Daytona arrived this past week. Just like the male I picked up at the show, they are both unique and gorgeous. Packing was fine and they arrived nice and early. Overall, I have been thrilled with my animals from Susquehanna Ectotherms and I look forward to purchasing from Ted again in the future.

Over the last several years I have purchased numerous snakes from Ted. All of the animals I've acquired have been of the highest quality and equally matched by Ted's great service. I feel confident that whatever snake I acquire from him will be among the best out there. If you want a knowledgeable herp enthusiast that works hard to please his customers, you can't go wrong with Susquehanna Ectotherms.

I had seen ted around at Hamburg shows,Daytona & Tinley Park where I purchased a sweet striped sided Male Arabesque 100% het albino from Ted at the Tinley Park show. He's doing great & growing like a weed. I also traded him for a Male Albino boa for a friend of mine. Highly recommend him.

Got in 3 BRBs today. 2 Reds and an orange. The reds changed my friends minds that BRBs are not all they are cracked up to be. lol. Definitely top notch animals.

I just purchased a female california kingsnake from Ted in July of 2007. I spoke with him via email several days before the show, and expressed interest in a high white male that he had for sale. He ended up holding the snake for me because I could not get to the show until later in the afternoon due to unalterable appointments in the AM. Though I ended up selecting another snake, I was very appreciative of the gesture and will definitely do business with Ted again.

Another +1 for Ted. Just got a pair of beautiful baby hognose from him today. They came in as described, in great shape, and for once a hognose breeder actually has animals that are the color he calls them! You can rest assured if you buy reds from Ted they will be red, and his blondes are very light in color! One of the babies latched onto my finger, so I offered them a f/t pink right out of the shipping container -both ate! I couldn't be happier, and will purchase from Ted again in the future.
