I have a pair of yearling black pines. Both if them have very iridescent, black bellies.
On an outing to the zoo last night, we got to see an adult. Its belly is ivory white. It also has a white "collar" right behind the head. It reminded me of a pied ball python.
Which is the norm, black or white bellies?
