breeding question

i was thinking about breeding one of my females but cant tell if shes ovulating. so i was just wondering if it is bad to try to breed them if their not ovulating or will she just not allow it? this might have been already asked somewhere but i havnt been able to find it all that i can find is people asking how to tell if their ovulating and i have tried that and cant tell.

I keep my breeding groups together all year long. If and only if the male over does himself and starts to loose weight I will remove him for a couple of week R&R.
