I had always planned on taking a picture of two of these girls side-by-side, but kept forgetting. Anyway, here's one of my tang. amel fat tail geckos and my one-and-only peach phase FT.

I can't believe the picture turned out as well as it did considering I didn't use a flash.


BTW, does anyone know if the "gold phase" normals were/are involved with creating the peach phase amelanistics? I've always wondered about that. I have two gold phase females, but the rest of my normals are the red phase variety.

heres an old pic of mine from last year...same comparision- peach vs tangerine/reddish

i kept the red one, the peach one is around... i cant remember who i gave it to...

I like the tangs better than the peaches! But they are all nice!

Here they are. I got both of these girls from the same person (he was selling them for a friend) and at the time they looked nearly identical color-wise.

I'm beginning to wonder if the tang vs. peach thing has an inherited component to it other than just being line-bred...? Unfortunately, all of my males are of the red phase or tangerine amel. phase, so I won't be able to do much "experimenting" with it.

gee thanks, i already have a ton of geckos and now i know i am going to have to get some of those!!!! Think i will get some of those tangs!!!!!

I only have a tang..well i think hes a tang..im getten 2 100%het albino females this week..so i can hopefully produce some amels this year

Man, I got to get some FT's this year! Love the pics guys those are all beautiful!
