just a quick question that i should already know but for some reason im having a brain fart. do you measure the temp on the floor or inside of the humid hide on the warm side?

after reading other posts i have heard both ways so i was just wondering how the majority of people measure them.

If the gecko is spending a lot of time inside the hide, I think it's worthwhile measuring the temp inside the hide as well. Some hides trap heat and it could be a lot hotter in there than you think.

Take the temp from the floor, that is what creates the humidity in the humid hide, the belly temp on the floor of the cage, not the cage floor not the humid hides can be from 88-94, I prefer 91-94
