Last fall, Dan Felice hooked me up with an awesome 7 ft. female unicolor, to go with the awesome male uni, I got from him the previous year. He's only 2.5 years old, so I wasn't really too hopefull, even though they did hook up one time for several hours. All winter, Ive been watching her get fatter, and fatter. About three days ago, she started getting restless. She must have been releasing some kind of pre-lay scent pheromone, because {he} was very restless too. Last night she disappeared into the nest box. This a.m, I looked in and I nearly passed out. A HUGE pile of uni eggs!!! After we got them all marked for orientation, and transfered into the incubator, we counted 20 eggs total!!!!!!!! With only one small, questionable egg in the whole batch. If all these hatch, I will be completely insane by September!!! Maybe I should go ahead, and shave my head now! Would anyone like a couple Uni eggs? No really,...would anyone like a couple eggs!!!?

Wow, that is a clutch! At least 1 or 2 should hatch out of that batch! just kidding, they all should hatch.

Reading some of your older posts on here with interest. Some of your posts on doing battle with the little "tali-banners" on kingsnake.com, is right on! Your right, they just censor whatever does not strike their fancy, glide around with that little Tali-ban stick whacking people on the hand for minor or sometimes large transgressions in their opinion. I pointed out to the community supervisory board of the elite, (when I was forced into Kangaroo Court), that on one hand they are meeting the needs of the herp community for a daily place to post and discuss facts. But they are failing miserably providing feedback for breeders experiencing an issue or when a full blown scam is underway such as just happened with the "Bogus Checks without Borders Program" (probably something the federal government dreamed up!)

I fell for that scam hook line and sinker in the beginning and was only alerted because I was able to place a post on here that stayed (without being immediately deleted) inquiring about the perpetrator of the heist. I could have lost several $1,000s of dollars because even though they said on Kingsnake - "this scam is one everyone knows about" , I had not heard about it in this form.

Thanks fauna classifieds for having a well rounded herp community, where most of the days it is the general "herp discussions on your favorite snake or lizard" hell I may even see if someone wants to "talk cats with me". But at least there is enough freedom from time to time to alert herpers when someone, something, some product, etc etc is a problem. I hate to see everyone re-inventing the wheel with herp husbandry and I hate to see everyone getting burned by the same people counter-fitting checks because everyone is afraid of loosing their posting privileges to "speak-up" when something is not right.

Keep up the good work with the unicolor and post some good pics. I understand they have a nice temperament like most of the eastern indigos do. They certainly have stunning colors combinations and markings on the face of the snake.

Living in shame - banned from kingsnake.com for posting "public service announcements about the "bogus checks without borders program".

Somehow I think I will survive like you said. I work with computers, they can't keep me out of the system if I want in bad enough. (I of course would go get a bogus email account just as Lee King does with the Hotel Nigeria Boys, name it "Soopy Sails" and post away to my hearts content.
