...about what time of year it is, lol. Caught her just starting to lay her clutch this afternoon.

This is the same girl that laid in September last year, she obviously doesn't know how to read a calendar!! :shrug01:

Heh, she got REALLY ticked off when I took that pic....I'm giving her some "alone time" to make sure she's done before disturbing her again, lol.

if their being dropped now , if i figure right they should be hatching about christmas time . that will be nice presents .

We ended up with 6 perfect eggs, one more than last year. She is VERY pleased with herself, so pleased in fact that she put up a very brave and noisy front trying to prevent me from taking them to the incubator, lol. And yep, those babies will be mighty fine Christmas presents! :thumbsup:

Congrats! It may be frustrating when they hold back their ovulation, but those will be sweet little Christmas presents!

LOL, I kept looking at her waiting for it to happen..and she just kept looking back. I think she does it just to drive me crazy. ;)

Eh.......she's not the only one confused, apparently....

I went to double check my incubator temp, and I got to peeking at the eggs. There are 7 eggs, not 6. Duh.

She was bred to my pastel male.....those 2 produced what I thought were some exceptionally nice pastels last year.

I counted em quick while I was worrying about her eating me...LOL.

If those eggs haven't hatched by now, they aren't going to...they were laid 14 months ago. (somebody's been sifting through the archives, lol)

LOL, yep, the eggs hatched awhile ago now....I believe it was 4 pastels and 3 normals that hatched, I'd have to look it up for sure (I'm at work right now). Thanks for asking about them, even a little late. :)

Felicia, she had 2 nice clutches 2 years in a row, so I didn't even put her back in with a male....wanted to give her a bit of a break. She's looking really fat and sassy again now, thinking I may put a boy in with her now and see what happens.....maybe I'll bring this post back up again NEXT December. ;)
