Pastel?????

Is this fella a pastel?? what should I look for when purchasing a pastel?

It's a pastel. Not a very bright one but it is one (I wouldn't buy it but that is just my opinion).
Look for the white "lips" and the green eyes as well as the bright coloring and blushing. The one in the ad is dull but you can still see the coloring on the sides.

Here is my Graziani line pastel. You can see the white lips I mentioned really well on it.

Thanks for the info. I'd love to make a super pastel someday, so I was thinking about adding this fella to my collection.

That is not a high quality pastel by any means, but it does fit the bill.

If you are looking for a pastel, keep in mind that they tend to brown out as adults, and that one is already brown..

Good luck in your search. You will surely find a good quality one in your area if you look hard enough.
