Can you legally sell reptiles to minors. It is my understanding that you can enter into a deal with a minor.

Wilian,
Me thinks you need to move this, or restart it, back in the General Business Discussions forum. In the meantime, you might want to check with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Reptiles (ATFR) for legality concerns ;)

I have no issues with minors being on Fauna. Ones age should not be a factor in being able to come here and learn.

As far as doing business with minors, I personally dont unless a parent is directly involved.

I met a girl on here a while back and we did a trade. I traded her some baby corns for a beautiful ball python. She was from Wisconsin and we met her and her mom near the Twin Cities here in Mn. I still have contact with her off and on, very pleasant girl. I have no problem with mature minors on fauna at all. I will only sell to a minor with parental permission.

I always ask them to have the parents call with approval. I think it is good for the youth to be able to come on here and learn a little.

I think with parent involvement, selling to a minor is okay. If it were not for my daughter, I would not have ever gotten hooked by the reptile addiction!! LOL
Now with that said, I also care for all the animals here at my house no matter which child it "belongs" to. That is why it is so important for parents to be involved, we tend to be the ones who pick up where the children leave off.
