My ball looks wierd

I just "adopted" this ball from a guy who just didnt want it anymore. He has a weird colortion, or lack of coloration on him. it looks like someone spilled bleach on him (figuratively speaking), but not pied. I attached pics. Does anyone know what this could be? Genetics?

Scars possibly... I've seen it before when it has been a flesh wound. The scales grow back white.

The white spot on the "alien face" is a scar for sure. But on the really light parts the scales don't change. Kinda like someone airbrushed him. Thaks for checkin' it out!
