Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Joe Pierce (BAD GUY)

Chuck and Connie didn't choose to have Joe come to their forum. But he did. They could have banned him, but why is it so bad that they are letting him at least get a chance to make amends. Joe doesn't want to come here because he probably thinks that he will continue to get bashed by the public and thus his attempt at amends would go nowhere.

Great conclusion Detective.. Flip side is it can bring more needed attention their site too.. Could be an intrestingly brazen way to bring in more intrest to a site that is not frequently visited.. *lol*

Joe doesn't want to come here because he knows he was wrong and knows that making an attmept three years after the deal is barely a thinnly veiled disguise to try to bring some better light to Brand Name.. Essentially, the Capt is still sinking with his ship and it is likely that anyone seriously into the hobby or trade will avoid his business like the plaque..

Joe has lost trust with a lot of people, and I therefore cannot say I that I support him. But I would like to see things get better. I think Chuck and Connie have tried to provide a way to get what the people want out of Joe, but without everywhere Joe ends up talking looking like this thread.

Reading the thread he started about guaranteeing hets...

Sounds to me like he's trying to get his "community" to justify him ripping people off on the hets. You sell something as a het, it needs to be a het, otherwise it's false advertising and you're ripping people off, period. Ever hear of Chris Johnson? If Joe was so afraid of the slim chance of a female retaining sperm from the previous year, he should have labeled them as possible hets. He's just looking for a way out of his responsibilities.
 
I have no real business posting on this thread.....and I should probably keep my mouth shut.....but I was never all that good at zipping my lip, so.....

I am **just** guessing here, but the pattern of lying/cheating/conniving for money, followed by an absence of a couple of years, followed by attempts to make at least some amends....sounds suspiciously like a drug problem. And, while people can't escape blame for their past drug-fueled misdeeds, I personally believe that a person should be allowed to make amends as much as possible once they "see the error of their ways".

Of course, trust can't be restored over night. Or perhaps, as Ronald Reagan put it, "trust but verify". If each upcoming transaction of Joe's can be tracked and verified to have gone through properly, then perhaps that would present a reasonable way for him to start rehabilitating his reputation.

Just a few thoughts!

Well if it is a drug problem it appears he is attempting to jump over a step or two by not making things right. To post on an obscure site and refuse to go to other sites like this one to make amends makes my guess he is failing the program. :NoNo:
 
So the rumors that I have heard about Joe:

A. He was in jail for tax evasion.
B. He was in jail on drug charges.
C. He was in hiding and protecting his family.
D. He was in hiding from the reptile community and hoping we would forget his transgressions.
E. He was in Antarctica (ok I made that one up).

Anybody want to take bets on which one it is?

Don't hold your breath for a reply or him to account for his actions, let alone make good on what he owes Rich. I'm sure if Rich had received anything he would have posted.

Not holding my breath, just doing what I can to make sure that while he is active, this thread is active. :) He cannot run and hide from his past like he has done before. We will not forget his transgressions.
 
Supposedly, he had some auctions going on "that other site" to raise money to pay Rich back.
I know many of those snakes sold, but so far I have not heard a resolution to this issue.
 
No one has heard any confirmation from Rich about any monies received. And to my knowledge, Joe has not contacted anyone who got "bad hets" from him. I do know that he did not fee it was his fault that a snake sold to him as a hypo was not actually a hypo. My opinion is that misrepresentation, on purpose or accident, is still misrepresentation.
 
Does anyone know of anybody that was "screwed" by Joe Pierce received any kind of compensation? If so was it animals, money, or something else?

Do we even know if Rich Hume has got any monies back from Joe?
 
I'm curious about this too - it won't erase what he's done but if he does compensate people it's a good deal better than nothing :shrug01: I certainly don't want to discourage him from trying!

I was unaware of Joe bad rep until he royally screwed me out of $500!!!! I have filed a paypal claim against him, an interenet fraud claim against him, a BBB claim against him and I will likely be sueing him shortly (I AM married to a lawyer after all.) Wrong girl to screw with Joe! All you had to do was respond,I told you OVER AND OVER AND OVER that I didn't want to make this public. But now it will be everywhere.:angry:
