In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Husbandry of human offspring?

I just found this thread. OMG I was LMAO. Taking care of a spawn is actually very easy...IF you don't forget one important tool.. the ear plugs :D They have a tenancy to screech and it can be very nerve wracking. Oh and don't forget the dryer trick. If they colic turn on the dryer and put them ON TOP NOT IN it ;)

:yesnod:

Or in my case, both of them could be mine:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I know, they're not twins, but you know what i mean!

I'll have Donna send a prayer your way

I need one too for mines, they haven't hit their adolescent years yet :crying:

I will pray for yours, but i'm sure they are gonna grow up into great kids and then young adults, with you as a mom:thumbsup::thumbsup:

You seem to be a mom that will take no:censored: from smart alecky teenagers!

See, I am viewing this whole Shiney as a mother differently than you... Shiney will be the smart alecky one and her children will ground her.

Oh no, i can see Shine laying down the law with her kids, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Me, on the other hand, have absolutely no idea what kind of mom i'm going to be:rofl::rofl::rofl:

But i do know, my kids will not be let loose in a mall without adult supervision:NoNo:

Nicky, all joking aside, I want to apologize if I might have offended you. Without going into details I am sure you will understand what I mean. Again, I TRULY apologize.

lol Nick, great post.
You're already worried about their care, I'm sure you'll be crying more than they do once they're here :p...I like babies, you feed them, and keep them clean...They can't really run off from you, it doesn't take much to keep them entertained, and they don't have full range of the vocal cords yet...
My niece that lives with me is coming up on 2 in about a month...I'M terrified..She's recently learned shrieking and is great at telling you "shup" and "stop it!" X.X

Dean...I haven't the slightest clue of what you're referring too. So how about you PM your apology, but be sure to include what it is that you're apologizing for :D. (Seriously though, I don't know what you're talking about )

You've pretty much just described every other herp that I've ever owned. This shouldn't be too hard after all.

...I'm an uncle of two girls (so technically, that makes me an aunt...right? :shrug01:)

They actually named them (for the time being) Baby # 1 and Baby # 2. They were due sometime in Sept...so my sister & brother-in-law were caught off-guard when they popped out early.

Everyone is OK ...I only found out just now that I'm an auntie (they're in Hong Kong so the communication isn't the best). As I know more, I'll post. :willy_nil

(Momma Donna...this would be a good time to post one of your famous prayers )

Wow this was great it really did make me LMAO. I'm a father of 2 my self. 1yr old boy A'den & a 4yr old girl Aerika. I never thought i would see the day some one broke it down in to "herp terms" but i now have and it was JUST GREAT. good luck and great times ahead. they are a BLAST to keep, but i would reccomend a 12x12x8 inclosure minimum they tend to climb & grow at a rapid rate

O yeah if

you are a guy = you are an Uncle
you are a girl = you are an Aunt

if they are girls = they are your nieces
if they are boys = they are your Nephews

Darn it...now I have to get a whole new wardrobe :mah:

*I just found out that Baby # 1 no longer requires "support." My sister was able to hold her :D. Baby # 2 is still on support but she's doing great.
