    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

They have asked you to leave them alone and to leave them out of your tirade. Cant you respect that?
 
Don't know much about frogs but in reading this it seems like there is a visual difference between the different frogs. If so, shouldn't the buyer be responsible for knowing what they are purchasing.
I agree though that they shouldn't be misrepresented by the seller, especially the source. I wouldn't like not getting the correct source even if the animal was correctly represented.
 
Wow! This post is kinda crazy! I wish i'd have known my name was getting kicked around in the midst of all of this and i'd have come and said something sooner.
I definitely don't want to get in the middle of this (although it seems i'm being dragged there..) but I will just insert my .02 and leave it at that!
I bought several of these frogs/tads from Wendy, she was very nice, generous, and from my experience works very well with her customers. She gave me some awesome deals on some of the amphibians I purchased, and I am very grateful for it! What I got from her all arrived alive and well, and I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. She is a great seller and i'd definitely buy from her again.
Now as far as this blue jeans issue goes-i've heard that the customer who ended up getting them was satisfied-whether or not they are "true" blue jeans is a different debate entirely (as many members of Dendroboard even debate the issue)...i'd say they were even at a decent price if they were just simply mancreeks. With a lot of these pumilio morphs it's sometimes hard to tell exactly what they are (as it is with various reptiles/amphibians) that's just part of the hobby that we all partake in...everyone tends to be so concerned with the best, the rarest of these animals-yet sometimes "best" is poorly defined.
If they are in fact mancreeks i'm sure Wendy would be more than willing to compensate that buyer accordingly (but as low as they were priced, there wouldn't be much compensation). She told me even hours/days after my frogs arrived that if anything went wrong or I was unhappy at all that she would fix it.
I think it's all up to the buyer, if he/she decides they are happy then that's great! If the ruling is that these are mancreeks and they buyer is still happy-then that's great too! If the buyer is unhappy then i'm sure Wendy will do what she can to make it right! A lot of people get confused with these types of things, it's no reason for anyone to get bent out of shape...I don't believe Wendy to be a seller that would label something different than it actually is just to rip people off of a few dollars.

I hope all of this can come to a close, and a conclusion can be reached that makes everyone happy!

The buyers are aware of the bloodlines and source. She is NOt a buyer.

It was a simple mistake. Typed 2 days before the frogs actually sold. It was an assumption on my part because the majority of my frogs came from Daryn.

I really don't want to stick my nose in your buisness, but did you purchase those pumillo blue jeans from Wendy Childs? Reason being, the pictures of them looked like man creeks and not blue jeans. I inquired on the thread as to what bloodline they are from, and she said they were from Darren Meyers. Thing is, Darren just posted in the thread that if the frogs are from him as she says they are, than they are 100% man creeks.

Oh, good! I'm glad you didnt buy them! I wonder if who did, or if they were really even sold. I found it odd that a little while after I said they look like man creeks, they suddenly were all sold. Just wanted to make sure you weren't getting something that is not what it's supposed to be.
But no problem, man - just doing what I can to look out for a fellow frogger and herper!

Wendy... it looks like Jade has posted her side of things and it doesnt look like who she contacted considered her harassing him.

Wanna post you proof that she is harassing customers.
 
I believe Wendy assumed that I felt harassed by Jade and she was just defending me. I was caught off guard by this whole situation (Jade messaging me and me getting caught up in this whole mess) and I spoke with Wendy about it, asking why she thought that Jade might want to contact me. I appreciate Jade's enthusiasm to get to the bottom of this issue (I was not really looking to be involved-but no big deal) but I believe Wendy was just trying to protect her customers-again another effort displaying her passion as a seller.
 
The only thing I'm trying to do is get the truth.
If she would have been straight up with me in the beginning, than it wouldn't have had to come to this.

Assumptions, exaggerations, lies...are not really character traits that can be explained away so easily.:shrug01:

As to your participation in the affair: I have been contacted by a board member before to warn me of an "issue" of which I was unaware concerning an animal that I was extremely interested in purchasing. I didn't feel the need to contact the seller and bring up that person's name.

I simply did some more research to ensure that I could identify the traits in the morph that I wanted and then made my decision on whether or not to go though with my initial inquiry into the animal.

I will give a little history on those frogs for all interested.

A wholesaler in Florida brought in (import) frogs 3- 3.5 years ago. I traded $800 worth of dragons for 8 frogs. Yes 8 whole frogs. Imports. Out of those 8 frogs I still have 6. 2 died.

They had never breed for me until I was watching the Life show. I saw the pumillo dart frog carry her tads 100 feet up a tree one at a time to stick them in barmiliads (sp- a plant). And that is how they thrived.

I replanted their terrarium with tons of Bramiliads, and walla - one day I saw baby frogs in there. From that point on this is how I let them breed. I do not take eggs or tads out. I let them morph in the terrarium.

These are the first 2 of their kind that I have sold. These 2 had lesser pattern and lesser appeal for me to keep. As you saw from the links I posted, some are not as attractive as others.

I dont have tons of them, but I do get them frequently. When I do and I choose to sell them, I will sell them for $100 each. They are my frogs and I can do that. I'm not crashing the market. I am listing them at a fair value , considering I didnt have to do anything to raise these frogs.

In the mean time, I am still on the hunt for some unrelated bloodlines.........

Wendy... you went on and on while ago about several of your customers compaining about being harrassed. Prove it. Jade showed her proof.
 
Those imports were from Panama, and were not Blue Jeans. Blue Jeans are from Costa Rica, which does not allow exports. Anyone who knows anything about pumilio would know to provide plenty of bromeliads and to not pull the eggs, the tadpoles must be fed feeder eggs by the mother and cannot be raised artificially. You are clearly in way over your head with these frogs, and dragging the good name of a very well respected frogger in to hide your misrepresentation is inexcusable.
 
So how did you mix up frogs that you claim YOU produced with a big name in that industry? Don't take much pride in what you produce do you? Or did you just want to give them more credibility as to what they were? I find it odd that once Darren commented about them being, "mans creek" you sold them all.

You mentioned 2 people bought all of the frogs, but only thanked 1. Who jade contacted. But you seem to be under the impression that she contacted the other party who bought the frogs in question. How would she have done that when you only mentioned 1 person and claim to care about your customers privacy. How did she find and talk to this mysterious 2nd party when YOU didn't mention them anywhere?

I think it's the customer.

This person apparently wanted to purchase some frogs from Reptile Addiction and could not get them because myself and one other individual purchased ALL of them! I received them on time and they are EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE! The other advertisement that was up and in question, I assure to everyone that it was legit. She sold frogs and moved on.

Oh yeah, by the way, she harrassed the other buyer other than myself over and over again and he will not speak on here. I am not afraid, I'm new here. Hope this helps.
 
Robert, the other buyer posted in here and sent her pms saying that Jade WASN'T harrassing him. Maybe YOU should read.
