I recently Bought the monitor listed here:Monitor sale add
I put a 150 dollar deposit down last friday, then paid another 400 on monday. The animal arrived tuesday and was very aggressive, expected from shipping. I contacted derek about it and his response was:

in the post it says he is tempermental he can be hissy i assume he is just stressed. when his nails are clipped he can be easily handled just like any other large monitor. give him a few days to settle in but i will not take him back. the animal is in perfect health and flawless. let him settle in and i dont anticipate you having a problem with him.

The animal is far from flawless since its temperament is nothing like what you described.
Its been 3 days now and i havent done anything other then change the water and offer him somthing to eat, the Animal has in no way a " good temperment hisses a little bit but thats about it " it runs around at the sight of someone and will whip or bite the second the door in the cage is opened. I do birthday parties and work with the herp society I cant afford to have an animal like this, wouldnt have bought if its temperament was listed Accurately. i Dont even want my deposit i just want the second payment back and ill ship this unhappy animal back.
