    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The aesthetics are not the problem.

Using wood cages, in general, for animals is a bad idea.

Using wood cages for "quarantine" is a terrible idea, it is extremely porous, holds moisture ( hence bacteria, viruses), rots and is prone to many cracks and crevasses ( more places for bugs to hide).

Even with a Polyurethane coating which should be a No CFC's/toxins finish the finish is still prone to the same problems.

Quarantine cages should be made of plastic or another non-porous material that is easily cleaned and decontaminated.

Posted pics of me next to my quarantine cages in my thread in the Ball Pythons Discussion Forum.

Good thing about wood is if there is any problem with a virus (which Ive never had one) it can easily be burned. Why keep a cage/rack and hope that you cleaned it right if you ever had an outbreak... So much easier and more effective to just burn the whole thing and be done with it IMO.

I dont even know where you guys got pro exotics from....? When I was selling snakes like that though, which I havent actually sold but one snake like that, I would work out a package deal with the breeder. I would get some snakes that I wanted from the breeder and add the snakes that my customer would want to the package deal. The snake would ship directly to the cutomer from the breeder, I never touched the snake. After talking with a few people here on the boi (as you can see in earlier post) I realised this was not smart. Even though I was dealing with a big breeder if something was wrong with the snake it would be on me. And I have not done that since.

Anything else that I'm "avoiding"? :)
 
The caramel spider you listed for sale was the same exact picture taken from Pro Exotics' website, a caramel spider that they produced and were offering for sale.

August. The dude was an idiot, then he said he would get his act together, attempted to do so by offering COD sales, and you guys won't get off him.

He explained his reasoning, his method, and just about everything you asked of him. Straight up gun squad. But he wants to change. You guys can't give a dude saying he's on the up and up a chance? WTF are you showing people? How much more can he do, really?

Ease up on the guy. I personally am a huge fan of the benefit of the doubt, as well as the second chance. I haven't bought anything from him, but I sure would if he had anything I was looking for. Seriously, chill the hell out folks. We're a community, why you wanna be so exclusionary?

And titling yourself scammer police is some very pretentious bullshins. Im just sayin.

Since a GF was CAUGHT in several REALITY FUGES, and then revealed his reasons, we are supposed to believe him...ummm I see how that works.

We are concerned because for the AMOUNT of animals he's listing, he doesn't seem to have the set ups to handle it this is an invitation to more disease spread.

Sorry, I agree with Kevin: Sorry....
but if he would have never been outted.... he would still be doing the same thing. You want me to sing his praises for doing what he should have been doing all along.... then ask me again in 5 years. Bet he goes back to his real character once the heat dies down. There was just too much that was planned out in details to make me think this was just a slip up and he did the wrong thing. What he did was premeditated and planned.
