Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thank you guys!!!!! I do believe there are 4 Fireflies, 1 Normal, and 1 Fire but...we'll see
3 babies are now fully out----> The remaining 3 are still chillin'
So until then I figured I'd introduce Babies 1-3.
Baby 1 is so tiny it scares me and is the only normal
Nicknamed Little Squeaker
....and weighs 29 grams NOT 28! Woot! I mislabeled it..d'oh?
Baby 2 isn't that much bigger but weighs in at a whopping 32 grams--these are the two babies that exited the eggs then hung on by their umbilical cords...
2 is still trying to figure out where the egg went......
Baby 3 is the monster of the group!!!!

But has a very sweet dorsal stripe........

They are getting progressively bigger....this one is a bit different in appearance, since this is my first clutch of pastel x fire.
Firefly or Pastel? Color is MUCH richer with a more regular pattern and very highly defined darks...

I'm amazed at how rich the yellow is on this lil one. I'll be interested to hear what everyone else thinks...but the super pale head puzzles me....jury is out

Not yet I tend to wait til they shed especially since these were so small. Probably so....was thinking (in shell) was firefly ...drat! lol

Thank you! number 5 and 6 are still holed up in the egg hideout...so no idea what that really holds. #2 is adorable...we'll see how they all do! And what their sexes are.

It will be easier to tell for sure once it sheds. The head really throws you off in thinking it could be just a pastel.

In regards to the head it is the same as the other fireflies---my pastels in the past have always had a tannish to light brown but not whitish...so that is what moves me towards Firefly--we'll see though! lol

That's what I meant, lol. I think I just worded it in a confusing way. Srry, have a cold and my head is all hazy. What I meant is that the blushing on the head is what tells you it could be more than just a pastel. Although I've seen regular pastels with blushing like that on their head. Kk I think I worded that right. Lol. I love how different he/she looks from the others tho.

Its actually kind of funny cause that was how I expected them to look (like baby 4) rather than the pinky/lilac colors....very odd. Last two are out of their eggs but still sporting the umbilical tether so just letting them chill until that is all done....no pictures til they are all set. This has been a long process for this clutch.
