    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i deal in used auto parts quite a bit when im building a car. the scammers are way worse in car parts let me tell ya. i always have them post a pic of the part with a message saying a personal message that i chose. that way i at least know they have the part in there possession.

You haven't been crucified, yet. Pointing out bad practices and asking for proof that you have the animal is far from it. Believe me, it would be easy to do with you if someone wished to.
 
Blaine, Actually when someone stops sending me pm's I usually think that they have gone to bed or life has interrupted. I am not sure if you noticed but this didn't start as a BAD GUY thread. 99% of the time I will do a BIO check on someone if I am looking to buy/trade with them. Also one good guy thread, started by someone that has been on the site only a few times, has no trader rating themselves, to me doesn't hold much weight. We have seen scammers give themselves a good guy post. That is why I posted. Like I have said I have been burned (badly) by people and honestly don't have the good sense a lot of the people here do and there are a LOT of people here that have cool heads and are good at advising. That is the VALUE of the BIO.

Like the others have said when you talk about shipping dates it makes the other person think 100% that the trade is signed and sealed. Also you NEVER mentioned you where entertaining other offers. I have no problem you wanting to get the best for your animal. We all do, especially when trading. Truth be told my last pm to you was (basically) "how can we work this out?"

IF you do business again here let me give you a few tips.

1. TELL the person you are working with if you are entertaining other offers.
2. TELL the person when you no longer want to do the trade with them.
3. Expect to be asked for more photos.


LOL I had other things to say but they just won't come out right.

Not crucified as a theif [sic], but identified as one with questionable business practices. If you make a deals with people and don't keep them, what do you expect?

I wouldn't trust this guy or whoever posted the other ads (probably this guy as well) at all.

The original ad from here (fauna) seems to have been taken down.

I was unaware that the pictures of my snake was being used by others. I have also sold this snake locally today. and informed the buy of this thread so they will hopefully explain the nice animal they bought from me. I was not trying to scam anyone just getting and reviewing offers.

And, Blaine, when were you planning to let the people know that their deals fell through? At least two people were scheduled to ship to you Monday, so if it wasn't for this thread....
 
The people that i was considering trades from have been notified better anything was shippied out and it was not because of this thread that they where notified.
 
I realize that i did not go about this trade in the right way. but there is nothing i can do to change what i have done, but move forward and learn from my bad dicsions.
 
Post more pics of the same snake if you want a chance to restore your credibility. That last one was from page 24 of google picture search for 'piebald ball python'.

Where are your pictures published that others could steal them? You are new to ball pythons, no?

I am sure you got a MUCH better deal than a super Mojave....
