In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not for nothing, but it really is cruel. Theyre more sensitive to UV rays along with heat, injury can occur during the mating process and they have problems shedding. Dont you silkback breeders feel bad about what youre doing? I know they are money makers, but its not worth making that extra cash if youre going to be a part of the growth of a bad morph. We need to put silkbacks into the EXTINCT category. Leatherbacks are good enough. If you guys really want to make more cash, just try hard making a new morph that doesnt effect its skin in a harmful matter. I have a business going on with these beardies that will absolutely BLOW UP within the next few months and believe me, I will NEVER support them. For those who will keep breeding them, do you. I am willing to pay thousands of dollars with time to promote this message globally. We just cant let this continue its wrong. Yall can say all yall want to defend the morph, but you guys were never inside of a Beardies body from the start to be able to talk good about the morph. You need to care about these guys.

First, the classifieds is not the place for your diatribe...so your thread has been moved to the discussion area.
Second, referencing the following statement:
Yall can say all yall want to defend the morph, but you guys were never inside of a Beardies body from the start to be able to talk good about the morph.
Should we take that to mean that you HAVE been inside of a beardie's body from the start, and that is what entitles you to speak against the morph? I mean, let's keep the playing field level...

by the way can one of you guys please explain why im restricted from certain actions on this website? i never violated terms and im still new to this.

jason, you must become a subscribed member to enjoy the site full access.you havent violated any terms.you can go to search and punch in paid subscription.that will guide you for what you need to do.

Certainly hope you don't go broke promoting your message globally.

Have YOU ever bred any silkies yourself? I have produced many all produced by breeding a leatherback X leatherback.they do not have problems shedding they just don't shed like a normal dragon, they shed more like a leopard gecko.I consider a silkie an exciting and wonderful morph to work with not a bad morph as you describe.

I have been inside a bearded dragons body a few times dissecting them.

You talk about making lots of cash by breeding beardies, get back to us after the few years go by when your breeding operation BLOWS UP like you have posted.where is your busness located and what morphs are you working with?

Alot of us breeding dragons do not do it for the money,it's purely for the fascination of the dragons and is a hobby.

if you followed the logic that you shouldn't breed morphs you haven't experienced as a dragon, then shouldn't you refrain from breeding any morphs other from the naturally occurring ones? while silkies don't appeal to me as much as other morphs, as long as their needs are met, they seem to be as healthy as regular, scaled dragons, at least from what i've seen.

Interesting discussion. Any evidence or links we can read about how it hurts them so we can develop opinions?

Having hatched out some last year and again this year I can say they should get a little more care regarding shedding. They are more prone to shedding issues but it only takes a few minutes every few days or so to soak them which I found to be helpful. I have not bred a silkie so I can't comment on that. I think to say they shouldn't be produced is a bit extreme. Just given the proper care that's all. A little lotion seems to help as well but isn't absolutely needed, I don't think.

To Ed Clark: It certainly will blow up and I will have enough cash to make it happen soon. Ive won a lawsuit in the past and will be receiving all the cash i need by the end of the year to do all I need. Im talking about trademarking, patent, already have my logo design, already have people who will always be interested in working at the warehouse I will soon have my breeding taking place at, and so forth. If the business doesnt work out then hey, sucks for me. Point is, I have enough money coming my way as is to pay off for promotions as well. Please dont underestimate someone you dont know because it really is pure ignorance, not to be rude to you mate. Ill have dunners in hand, whitblitz, and much more (excluding silkbacks).

I havnt seen evidence but theres certainly is NO EVIDENCE proving the morph is good to go. I have been getting email replies from many people who actually agree with me though (via craigslist). Some of them states that theyve been dealing with beardies for many years and that they know it is cruel as well. You can never tell if someone is lying about their experience or not but it does feel good to me to know that others are feeling the same way. Im pretty sure the morph will never come to extinction because it would basically feel like me against the world, but I still had to let the public know how i felt about this morph because it really irritates me to see them have to live their whole life in a much more delicate body than what the man above gave birth to them in.

hah the PETA. that was funny Lucille i like that one but anyways what i meant by the man above is the "Jesus" of your religion. Id say Jesus himself but we dont all believe in him you know?

Really? Right there in Queens New York City, huh? Is that a natural habitat for these guys?
Nope. ALL your lizards where you are have to have care, you can't just let them run the hood. So what's your point?

Jesus as far as I know did not give birth to any lizards. Yet here you are trying to decide for others on the basis of...what?

You just made a point that has no sense in it.

Let's try again:

Where you live is not a natural habitat for these lizards.

Because it is not a natural habitat for these lizards you have to provide a habitat.

The fact that 'normal' beardies (we will put aside evolution for right now) require significant special care (UV lights, purchased foods, special habitat) where you live means that the slight changes to that care because of slight changes to the lizard itself are not really that relevant. After all, we are not talking total life support with the lizard on a ventilator, we are just talking some further minor changes in care.

The slight difference between normal lizard and morph lizard is not near the difference in care between wild lizard and captive lizard.

Yet you are trying to assert that small differences are somehow more significant than they actually are.

That sort of thing does in fact remind me of PETA.

I could really care less what you do honestly, but I can assure you that you won't get much business with the kind of attitude you come off with.

How long have you been into beardeds? Are you aware of any of the complications with the morphs you listed? I mean being all anti silkies and all, I'm sure you wouldn't be interested in any morphs that arent doing well right? Thats funny.

Craigslist huh....good place to go for moral support and be happy that people feel the same as you. From craigslist to a warehouse full of breeders and rolling in the money. Good luck to you .
