    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Maybe a few days off (for violating the rules of this site) will help you make the break you say you want. Your account won't be deleted; so you'll just have to exercise a little control, and not visit...or keep going and get this account banned, as well.
 
I have to say, I've been a member here since 2008, I am a collector not a breeder, I haven't had 1 problem on here at all. I have even sold a snake or two. And have bought many... I / we . Are just asking about your reliability , its not hard. Why didn't you just say that you and your wife both have accounts from the same computer ? I hope you can see my point. There are a lot of people scamming out there these days and its easy to do. You should have posted in the section of new members saying hi, I'm so and so. And my wife is, this and that... Then post your snakes for sale. And give it a week or 2 if someone asks for refrences or pics. Send them refrences and pics. That is how you build relationships with customers.

I've asked a few times to see pics of your pastel ball. I would not send money to someone for a snake without even knowing what the snake looks like . And hopefully you wouldn't either.

We aren't trying to be bad people. Just cautious , it might be different if we were. Only talking about 10 or 15 bucks. But sending hundreds of dollars is another. 300$ is allot of money to me. Others may not think so , since I see snakes for sale for 12,000 and beyond , but it takes a good amount of time for to save that much. And I just want to know who I'm sending my money too.
 
Besides both DOB being 2/11/1996, anybody else find it odd that two people being 16 yrs old are living together...or am I missing something.

ok common courtesy would state that you would let me know you were going to leave the snake up for sale and if it was still available you'd sell it too me. people are going to be skeptical of everyone. i have researched many breeders and before i send them cash i always check the b.o.i and there public profiles and make sure they have a good reputaion and most likely arnt scamming me. last thing your reputation as a breeder, wholesaler, or hobbyist in herp society will make or break you. people will look you up before they purchase from you and this is one of two huge sites they'll check if they dont find you on kingsnake they'll google you or come straight here and the way you handle this situation will be many's deciding factor on whether or not they do business with you. I am sorry but i do not think i will be purchasing your pastel and i would implore you to come deal with this in a civilized manor instead of throwing away your reputation before you even get started. I am new to the herp world myself and i would love to see another herp enthusiast get his or her foot in the door so dont make this into something its not.

Well, with some information that came my way I'm going to state that I don't even think she is as old as her profile states she is. She looks, sounds and acts like she is much, much younger. If I had to guess a age I would say 13-14. With that, I think she is just a very immature child that lacks the knowledge to be selling or buying reptiles online. I think her responses proves she not ready to be professional and handle a sale responsibly.
I don't know if she just thought she had a pastel, was told or just made it up. One thing is for sure is she lacks knowledge or she wouldn't have sent the pictures.
My opinion may seem a bit soft but I would leave it at that since she never completed a transaction here. Maybe in a couple of years and some maturity she can do better. That's just my opinion.
 
That is a very valid post Dennis and you are probably right. I am all for kids learning about reptiles and developing a passion for them but you can't come onto a website and act like she did, but as you stated, it is probably because of her age. That leads me to ask the question, "When is too young to start breeding and selling reptiles"? Would it have been different if her attitude was different? I understand she is young but what if a buyer wanted that snake and didn't know the difference between a normal and a pastel and actually thought it was a pastel and they wanted one, so they bought it??

Dear Fauna, This is Sierra, I want to thank you for banning this account for a few days because it really has calmed my wife down greatly. Down below is the gods honest truth;
Yes, believe it or not, we are born on the same day. That is one of the reasons we connected and fell in love. Yes, we are both 16, but in the state on New York, you are only required to be 14 or older in order to get married, as long as you have parental concent. We have known each other since we were both 5 years old and we have been best friends ever since. We got married when we were both 15 years old. She moved in with me and my mother about 6 months ago. I have owned snakes my entire life and she has admired them from a distance all her life. We recently decided to jump into the herp world and not start a business, but breed snakes. We are just trying to get rid of some to fund our growing project. We are not trying to scam people or do any of the things you guys are trying to accuse us of. We are just trying to sell some snakes. So yes, it says we live in seperate towns, but Napanoch and Ellenville are not even a mile apart. Yes we both use the same computer, hense the same IP address. I looked online to find where my IP address put my computer, and it said Napanoch NY so to follow the guidelines to get approved for this site, I just put Napanoch. I hope this does a good enough job of introducing myself to you guys. I am sorry for all the doubts and I am sorry for my wifes foul language and choice of words, but with your permission, I would like to continue to use this site and make an effort to sell some of my reptiles. Please respond with your answer. I will not post anything until you give me permission. Thank you.
