Bad Guy Paul Moyer of Monster Reptiles in PA

Paul Moyer aka Monster Reptiles is a good guy. He doesn't have a crooked bone in his body. Can't say the same for the OP or his supposed brother. Both have been banned for starting trouble and also calling out big time known breeders for their "Fake Genetics" Good riddance to bad rubbish IMHO.

Paul has shown a lot of class too. The BB (not the Blues Brothers, the Banned Brothers) seem to revel in deliberately aggravating people. Look at the text quote, below:

I agree Lucille. It does say a lot about a person when they are put in this type of situation. He stated what he needed to say and did not overpost. He did not rise to the threats. He did a good job here :yesnod:

I had seen the posts made by the BB's on FB and they were very violent and nasty. Even there Paul kept his temper down and handled it properly.

To be clear, their bans were due entirely to their continued disregard for the rules of this site...it had nothing to do with them calling out anybody. I suspect you mean something different by your starting trouble comment; but, to the extent that violating the rules for posting & bypassing bans is "starting trouble", it can't be denied as a factor.

Yes Harold, I was referring to their more than eager willingness to cause trouble reputation that most of the members on the site are aware of. I am just glad that the mods are making it known that they aren't gonna allow individuals to continously break the rules.

Honestly what is this thread really about the ops personality and past, to me it seems like everyones looking past the fact the op traded for an animal that died two days after he got it. I would bet anything that if anyone not even just the people posting in this thread anyone that traded their three thousand dollar animal/animals for an animal that died 2 days later would feel the exact same way.
Not to mention the animal was sitting on a pest strip and confined with it, some things I found reading about the warnings,
precautionary statements: Hazards to humans and animals, keep out of reach of childeren, do not get in mouth harmful if swallowed. After prolonged storage, a small amount of liquid may form on strip do not get liquid in eyes or mouth, wash thoroughly with soap and water directly after handling strip Do not use in any rooms or closets of rooms where infants, sick, aged are or will be for an extended perioud of confinement, do not use in any area of the home where people will be present for extended periouds of time.
That being said obviously these strips amit an airbourn toxin that can be toxic to humans and animals just being in the same room for an extended period of time, this animal was laying on it and then confined in a tote hmmmm I wounder how fresh the air was in there??? Also it produces a small amount of liquid when prolonged storage takes place, I wounder how much liquid developes whenha 90lb snake is squashing and moving around ontop of it absorbing this liquid getting it in the eyes, nose and mouth ?? cant be healthy I bet sounds deadly to me. Seems like the seller put this strip to kill mites as fast as poss to avoid haveing to refund someone 3k when they discover mites and whatever else he was trying to kill in a hurry, not realizing he was slowly killing the snake.
I think because of jesuses past posts and threads people now are disregarding the real issue here, an animal was picked up buy a seller at a ahow and it died 2 days later now if its not from the pest strip there had to be an underlying issue that was going on way before jesus got her, and a snake especialy an adult will not die 2 days later while being contained in a prime enclosier and prime temps if it was 10° hotter then 86° 2 days earlier, if that was the case allot of people would have dead animals after the show. IMHO the vender made a carless and fatal dissision and jesus got stuck with the outcome of that and the vent got 3k worth of perfectly healthy retics and is standing on the crutch of wanting a necropsy after 2 days. When have any of you ever had to or heard of someone getting an animal from a vendor/business the animal dies 2 days later and they needed a necropsy for the vendor/business to make it right 2 DAYS LATER .

Please keep in mind, im not supporting jesuses choice of words towards Mr. Paul Moyer or prophanity in any way i simply felt the need to voice my opinnion at the matter at hand because it seems everyone seen the person who was posting and took the whole matter way out of what the thread clearly states when if it was any other person there would be allot more people on the ops side and wanting the right thing to be done, as the vendor in my eyes and im sure allot of people aside from the people that derailed this thread with the ban jesus/angle clan should make it right.

I don't think many people are disregarding the fact that the snake died. As far as your comment about a necropsy being required for an animal that died in two days - I don't see anything wrong with that request...if a seller is of the mind that he sold a healthy animal, it is not unreasonable for him to want to know the cause of death before issuing a large refund. If the seller put a vapona strip in the container, he may well be at fault...however, if the snake was overheated, it becomes a matter of what actually caused the death.
At this point, the cause of death (as far as I know), is not known...so it isn't known whether the seller is responsible. The value of the animal comes into play here, too...it wouldn't be worth the hassle if it was a $200 refund/replacement; but it makes sense at $3000.

I wouldnt and im sure anyone I know would never do business with Mr. Moyer when it comes to buying/selling anything. Not only do I think that strip caused that snakes death but I also think he put other vendors animals in the surrounding area at the show at risk with his improper use of a chemical I wouldnt recommend anyone even using around their reptiles. There are other more safer ways of ridding parasites.

And why is it the op is automaticly the bad guy in this situation when the seller in my eyes should be trying to help get a necropsy or give some references being they are not that far from eachother he seems like hes just sitting back when the reason why the snake died in my eyes was his fault. Also how do the elements over rule a deadly chemical that was.1000% used the complete wrong way and did exactly what the warnings say it will do if ingested, breathed in ect. and not treated. But being that everyone says it could have over heated with temps way belowe 100° (smh) why is the op being labeled as the one at fault the ops the one who lost 3k, got a 16ft poisoned dead snake he has to find a place that will do a necropsy before its to late, got bashed by everyone and then banned but the seller is totally being treated like hes a good guy. he should just sit back with his feet up after a snake he traded died after 2 days from the obvious reason. This is really sad smh.

Who has seen or will pay 3k for a big tiger retic in todays market, not me or anyone I know. On the other hand the ops snakes he traded I can see being worth 3k.

You've got a weird take on this, and seem convinced of what the rest of us are thinking. One last response to you, then I'm done in this capacity.

You keep talking about the OP - but seem to forget that he was not involved in the transaction. His getting banned has nothing to do anything other than his continued violation of the rules of this site - it doesn't mean that viewers of this thread don't think the buyer (not the OP) might have a valid complaint.
As far as finding somebody to to a necropsy, one would think that the buyer, as an experienced reptile keeper, would have a clue about vets in his area - or know somebody that could direct him (heck, calling any vet should get a referral if one takes the time to ask).
I agree that the seller is probably getting off the hook because Angel got himself banned...but what was the option? Turn a blind eye, and let this all play out; then ban him? Doesn't work like that. If the buyer, not the the OP, is convinced that the death was the seller's fault, he should have put the effort into making the necropsy happen.

Temps can get well over 100 degrees in a vehicle. Animal abuse cases, children forgotten in vehicles, all state temps over 100 degrees in a car that is shut off. That was a large snake, did they have a vehicle that could hold it inside or was it in the trunk? We don't know.
What about the 7 bowls of water at one time?
You can't disregard the other possible ways this snake could have died. Buyer could have removed the strip as well.

Many posts ago there was a number posted for a vet willing to do the necropsy. That person stated it took him all of five minutes to get that answer. Jesus/Angel could have done the same thing and got out taken care of.

... got bashed by everyone and then banned but the seller is totally being treated like hes a good guy. he should just sit back with his feet up after a snake he traded died after 2 days from the obvious reason. This is really sad smh.

And who's fault is that? Don't forget, the OP was not the buyer or the seller. The person who purchased/traded this snake was banned BEFORE this issue even took place. That means, he had no right to even tell his story here or have the privilege of member assistance. I don't run my mouth like a :censored: fool and threaten fellow hobbyists when I don't get my way because I like keeping this privilege. The buyer would be screwing himself if he doesn't get the necropsy and there's nothing else anyone here can do for him. People are probably bashing him because, well what comes around goes around, right?

Go back and read the history and then come back and see if you still expect everyone to help him. Unfortunately, I would have been glad to help, had they not been so disrespectful to the valued members.

BTW, if it's so obvious that the pest strip killed the snake ... what's your take on the buyer still purchasing it after seeing that? Is this something you would have done and then still expected compensation for? Clearly, you can't think this was the best decision.

:iagree: I truly believe in that old saying "you don't :censored: where you eat"...This is the second time that these "brothers" come in here in an un-professoinal and disrespectful manner and expect the reptile community to bow down and say YES, IT'S PAUL'S FAULT !!! Ummm NO. Everyone here has given different views and angles on the situation based on experiences.

You say noone will pay 3k for a retic in today's market? LOL You're right, they pay upwards of 30k but thats not here nor there or revelant to this thread.

When you say there are other ways you can kill parasites. I'm sure you meant external parasites right?

Also, I would like to see your veterinary credentials and or your toxicology report findings that lead to your conclusion that the pest strip killed the retic. The hard truth is here that NOONE knows what really happened to that snake. One of our members was kind enough to take a whole 5 minutes of his time and find a place that would do a necropsy.

In closing, PERCEPTION is everything. If your gonna kick and scream and threathen people with bodily harm, your not gonna get very far in life. It might've worked in school when you were a kid but not here. If you carefully read the entire post you will see that EVERYONE here has echoed the same sentiment. A necropsy is needed, period. How that's worked out financially is up to both parties. I don't know paul or the rojas brothers, I go by the PERCEPTION I am shown.

I have already posted a confirmed location and phone # that will gladly do a necropsy. So anyone wanting to beat that already dead horse please don't bother. Once more here it is. New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, PA. 610-444-5800 will gladly do the NECROPSY. I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH DAVE AND CONFIRMED THEY WILL GLADLY DO IT. So the issue that a necropsy is or was impossible is mute. Let's not talk about that issue again.

As far as the Pest Strips go. I have been using them for 7 years and never have I had a single issue. They are hands down the best way to rid a might infestation when used correctly. Trust when I tell you Paul knows how to use them. I have spoken to him about the way he uses them. The pest strip is not the cause. But for those that feel I am wrong my previous post gladly gives a necropsy source. Show me I am wrong.

Jose, we were obviously replying at the same time. Thanks for pointing out the Necropsy source that I worked so hard to find. It took me that whole 5 minutes but the OP claims to have spent hours to and couldn't find one. I believe you won't find anything in this world you don't want to find.

Joe, I've used them for many years on my burms, retics and BP's and never had an animal die on me because of them.
