    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I thought i would throw up a little photo of some neat pastels that hatched from a super pastel lesser to het red female.

There are a couple comparison photos of the larger pastel lesser and a half sibling from another clutch.

thanks
howard

Nice.. Are you saying this is a new gene or..its just has more blushing? I think nerd works with something called the bald gene is this the same?

oh, no. just pastel lessers, maybe het red as well. I have just never hatched such a light headed pastel lesser and thought i would share.

The two on the left are pastel lessers, nice ones too.
My pastel lesser girl started life with a very light colored head too, but it has darkened some as she ages...

thanks, i am aware they are pastel lessers. just not sure on the het red part. judging by the head color; i sway towards triples. but, i am still waiting on confirmation from breeders with more pastel lesser het red breedings.

I don't see any het red patterning in the pastel lessers but the other one might possibly be a pastel het red.
Even that one doesn't look a lot like the pastel het red I owned, but they are variable.

yeah i have a pastel het red in the clutch that is semi typical. the only triples i can find online look just like pastel lessers with a lighter/ white facial stripe. i am not going to lose sleep over them. just odd compared to the ones i normally produce. the larger girl is bright like a pastel lesser yb. that odd pastel has a yellowbelly like pattern as well on the belly.

thanks for your input jerry

Really nice Howard. Another member here sent me a link on Het Reds a while back. I thing I recall most of them having the dot behind the head, it looks like that Pastel has a nice dot so who knows. The Pastel Lessers I would guess are just that, Pastel Lessers. They really are smoking though and that head is amazing! Congrats :)
