I don't see why people claims it's so hard to post in the BOI. Post your side, tell the truth, and boom...done. You might have to answer a few questions or clarify, but as long as it's the truth I do not see where that is so difficult.

If the OP states he received no pics, but the seller states he sent them, an easy fix would be for the seller to post screen shots showing the pics were sent.

Raleigh receives the dragon on 8/4, he tells Michael on 8/7 he got what he paid for. even tho Michael sent a dragon with missing toes he offers the buyer a refund.

Michael tells Raleigh shipping will cost 80 plus dollars to return the dragon. at that point Raleigh decides to keep the dragon. now he starts a bad guy thread over 2 months later.

Raleigh decided to keep the dragon which should be end of story.

I've dealt with Mike several times, both as a buyer and seller, and have had very positive experiences with him. He offered the buyer in this situation a refund for the full cost of which he was responsible, but the buyer chose to keep the animal. I don't see Mike being at fault for his willingness to issue the refund, and it is what any respectable seller would do to come to terms with any buyer dissatisfaction. In my opinion, he has offered a means to work this out, and by no regard does that warrant a "Bad Guy" thread.

I think the seller should have mentioned the problems with the dragon no matter what he was charging for it. It is important to be honest about such things. To say I sold him to you cheap so that makes it ok? What is that??? He could have easily said, I am selling a bearded dragon with missing toes, etc for only this amount. I also would have expected some money back. How can you not know your bearded dragon is blind? I keep them. I assure you it would be obvious.

Michael offered a refund on the dragon only. he should have offered a full refund after sending a dragon missing 7 toes, that would have his buyer paying 2 shipping charges totaling $133.85 as far as Michael being a good guy...I don't see it that way!

Then the fact he tries to jack Raleigh for a $80.00 shipping charge. no good guy there.

Now lets look closer at his solution (refund minus shipping cost)
He told me he paid $80 for shipping a 3lb package priority over night
My cost to ship to him back was 53.85 via Reptiles Express
SO if my refund was 350 minus his shipping of 80 minus 53.85 shipping back
Refund would 350 - 80 - 53.85 = 216.15

Im just not happy losing 133.85 when a asked for breeding quality dragon.
I felt like he was very shady in the sale of this dragon and Im not satisfied with the purchase.

He offered the buyer in this situation a refund for the full cost of which he was responsible

After not being offered a full; refund AND the seller paying for return shipping, I personally would have just filed a claim with paypal and got my money back.
SO what if he waited a long time to post a thread about it all, he was simply trying to relate his experience, not resolve anything by posting BOI. It seems like he already tried making the resolution back in August.

Judging by the e-mails that the OP provided, you didn't disclose that the Bearded Dragon was missing any toes, regardless of how many toes he is missing you should have told the OP before the purchase.

Someone that's so experienced, yet not sensible enough keep evidence around, just in case. Not saying a whole lot for your level of professionalism. And neither are your smartass remarks. Seeing as you can't prove anything, we have nothing more than context clues, on which to base our determination of guilt. Being rude and going on the offensive is not how most "Good Guys" choose to handle themselves when trouble arises.

You sent him a flawed animal, and can't prove that he was made aware of the flaws before buying. Nothing you've posted has given me any reason to want to side with you, based simply on how you've conducted yourself. Being dismissive and belittling towards someone with a legitimate gripe isn't going to help you out very much.

2-7-10 It don't matter how many missing toes, all you had to do is mention that the toes were missing when your customer inquired about the dragon. there is a good chance he would have bought it if you would have been up front with him.
