In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Thomas Dorn - aeterrabyte

I was assuming that you guys would give me the benefit of the doubt. I made a mistake on human human interaction, not on snake keeping.

Thomas, you put a price tag on this snake of 100.00 since its sick. Are you willing to sell it for such a price or no?

Rob can resell it to me for that price, or once he accepts it back resell it to you for that price

Rob, I am just waiting to get it. I want to as much as you do.

I made a mistake on human human interaction, not on snake keeping.

This is the song that never ends.....

Here are a few, just to start:

1. Allowing a snake to live unheated for "a day or two" while you finished the rack.

2. Improper rack setup. Period.

3. Force-feeding water to a snake that ate the day before.

4. Not asking the vet to run any tests.

Address these when you come back (after you finish the work you've got to do).

1. Not true. I told you she had heat for some part of the day. This was like 1 day while I was getting getting her set up. In nature snakes experience all kinds of different temperatures. They primarily need heat in the morning time. Do I really have to educate you?
2. My rack is perfect.
3. Not going to cause the problem we see.
4. Vet said IBD tests don't work well, and you would still not know even if it came back positive or negative. Said snake should just go back to breeder.

Does this mean that you figured I'd just call the vet, he'd say he couldn't discuss anything with me, and you'd be off the hook?

I think he managed to convince himself from the very beginning that we'd all make a knee-jerk reaction and automatically side with the poor guy that got "stuck" with a "junk" snake. It must not have occurred to him that we'd be at least as interested in the why as we are in the what.

Correction: Buys and sells. lol. :).

I didn't want to infer that he buys or sells. I noticed his email was posted requesting drugs and this was from an IP address located in Austin, Texas. There are also posts on mushroom and marijuana forums under a user name the same as the one here, that also spells terabyte incorrectly. This definitely just appears to be spam

This will be my last post on this thread. It should be for a lot of other people. Everyone is wasting their time here. Thomas has shown that he will never believe it's his fault. Rob can not be blamed for an issue which popped up after 20 days after the sale, along with prodding, force feeding, rolling the snake around on camera, improper heat, (your tubs are way too smal for a 10 degree gradient to take place set at 88) the list goes on. Tom, you likely will not win anything from either PayPal or your credit card company. Your pics on your site are also very high quality. My dslr takes just as good video as pics. Why is your video so bad then? Your vet bill does not check out, nor your 3rd party friend who is too mighty for fauna and other similar sites.
As for the possibility that you are dealing in the illegal growing of drugs, and selling of vet prescribed medications, I would hope that is not true. When you get busted for one or the other if it is true, it'll have a negative effect on the community, much like how this thread has on your reputation.

And Rob, please add a line in your tos to prevent this from happening again. I believe you to be a good person after the route this thread took, and would hate to see something like this happen again.
Now let the thread die unless Thomas can provide anything more relevant than we are awful people, and won't give the benefit of a doubt. I personally only refund if there is a frozen body for me to look at under a microscope.

I am on the phone with the vet right now. I am going to just have to send it to the credit card company. I don't think rob is going to accept that his snake developed a problem in my care, but was due to inborn illness or something picked up at his facility.

... You now saw my website. I am not the novice you thought i was. Trying to get that into all your heads for sometime.
Anyone with internet access can make a website. It takes a special kind of person, for whom the label "novice" may be a bit optimistic, to willingly make the following post on a public forum. I reiterate:
In nature the snakes get most of there heat in the morning time so that is primarily when they need it as well. I also keep some young normal females together and they seem to be best buddies that is always an option. You can move one snake into another ones, and keep these 3 together in quarantine.
Not only does this post show a lack of general knowledge, it also shows just how worthless his quarantine practices are. Your own posts have blithely removed all doubt. There's none left from which you could possibly benefit.

So in other words the vet, just like everyone here, knows what you are claiming, is in fact, not true and you are most likely the cause for the snakes current illness?

And thanks for finally admitting that you are the cause of the snakes health issues. Or did you just :shootfoot??

No word yet from the vet. When you see the letter, and it's what I have been saying but in his own words. What are you going to do?
