In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just picked up 3 Chihuahua Mt king snakes and I am not sure what types they are. I can't really find good side by side comparisons anywhere.

The first one is an adult female. She is the prettiest snake in my collection.

the second is and adult male

and the third is a juvenile female

Any ideas as to what types they may be will be very helpful.

OK try this again, I can never remember which links to use for posting pictures

adult female

adult male

juvy female

I'm thinking type 3 on the adult female and type 2 on the male and juvy.

Thanks

Steve

Great looking Knobies, for sure.

I am new here and just learning. Could you explain the differences as far as types. Thanks.

Unfortunately I can't, that's why I posted here:) I know it has something to do with triad counts and the pattern on the back (one of the types has more squareish looking blotches I think. It's possible mine are the same type with the female a particularly nice looking specimen. I'm kind of a purist so I don't really like the idea of mixing the two so if they are the same that would be fine by me, I'd breed them and work toward a pair that looked more like the female. If they are different types I may be in the market for a mate for the female.
