• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Understanding that we posted at the same time - any further posts made from your son's account will be removed.

Please post the paypal address you were given.

I happened to look at the current BP ad - most keepers tend to stick with a single substrate (at least for a given species). Is there a reason you have the tiger on mulch, and the spider on aspen? You wouldn't still be using other people's pictures in your ads, would you?

He wants me to ship then he will cancel the dispute.

I keep all my snakes in different enclosure in different rooms. Im not a breeder everything was given to me as is.

Tracy (Jr),
Did you, in fact, cancel the payment? If so, a detailed timeline of when things took place would be appreciated.
Would you post the email in which she said she wouldn't ship because PayPal held the payment, please - preferably as a screen shot. Full header would be helpful.

Please post the notification you received about the cancelled payment, if that actually happened.
I

I received a PM from Tracy.
The screen shot of the notification of held funds is small, and nearly illegible - I don't think I'll be able to get it posted easily.

Basically, appeared to be a normal transaction...until the seller received a notice that funds were being held. The buyer confirmed that he sent payment, then this:
yea i see but it says pending and i cant use the money to pay for shipping. Did you send it as goods or family and friends?
either you ship today or i will cancel paypal
How am i scam? Youre the one charging back with no sort of communication what so ever. I asked if you wanted a refund. Im posting this up hope you know you are very rude and obnoxious.

This whole thing happened today, start to finish.

Since PayPal says the account is non-US, unverified - the buyer's concern is understandable, IMO.

Kate - how about a something to show that you actually have the three snakes - put all three of them together in the tiger's tub, take a picture, and post it in this thread.
If you can do that, this should be easy enough to resolve.

The notice shows a release date of Oct 14, 2013.
Per PayPal:
Holds are typically placed on:

New sellers or sellers who have limited selling activity - until they build up a history of successful transactions
Merchants selling in higher-risk categories like electronics or tickets, where we see higher levels of chargebacks and disputes
Sellers who have performance issues, or a high rate of buyer dissatisfaction or disputes

If you're a new seller, your payments may be delayed by up to 21 days so that we can make sure your buyer is satisfied with their purchase. You can often get your payments sooner if you provide us with an online tracking number that confirms delivery of your item.

Below is the hold notification that was received.

Hmmmm - Kate's last activity here was at 10:01 pm (EST). Guess she's not going to post pics of the snakes. Big shock, there. :shrug01:
