In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well Played BHB... Scaleless Ball Pythons

The episode that aired today was them cutting the egg, so they're already out or will be shortly... I bet we see them next week lol

When he proved the sunset out he was selling just the hets for $50,000... Take out a second and third mortgage on your house or wait a few years. Who knows price could drop quick just like the banana last year they were going $35000-$50000 now you can get them for $1900-$2500. I personally think the banana should not have dropped so much so quick because of what it does as far as male maker and female maker but thats a different topic.

eh, my honest belief is it dropped that low because of the sellers trying to make better deals than competitors, and the price eventually got low enough as to be affordable, haha

Yeah good point. People are desperate for a sale and need quick money so in turn they beat everone out and crashes the market value. I also believe a ball python morph should not drop below $100 but hey thats my opinion on things.

Because so many people have produced them so the supply is way up there but demand isnt very high so people offer them up for cheaper to push them out. I see yellowbellies for $50. I wont go below $100 except if there is a snake that has a defect like missing an eye or something. Thise should be cheaper or free because people say that the snake will pass down the defect to other snakes. Idk again another topic and i have my views on that also lol.

They won't come available for a while... big breeders don't release the new, hot morphs until they're a few generations in. Banana price dropped hard this year, in part, because there are already so many combinations out there. Hold them all back, breed the males as soon as possible. Let a few trickle out while repeating the cycle. By the time the ones they released are producing for others, they're well ahead of the game & ready to cash in.
Its different when a smaller player scores, because they don't typically have the number of females available or the facilities to hold & grow that many babies.

scaleless? eww just eww.
like those scaleless corns. :ack2:
Sure they look soft but I just don't see the appeal

edit to add:
they're the first 2 ever and they're a superform of scalelesshead ball pythons

what about the Derma Ball from back in '05?
I think it was just missing like 80% of the scales tho, not completely scaleless. I believe it died?

I think these high dollar morphs rarely sell for that high. They build appeal and retain value for when they actually sell. "Well, if they were $75K three years ago, then $7500 doesn't sound too bad." It all appears to be a game and there are plenty of price tags out there that have no intention to sell.

If I remember correctly the dermaball also lacked heat pits...

Personally, while I know BP fans are mutation freaks, I'm not sure I agree with intentionally advancing and reproducing what is essentially a structural defect. Aren't color and pattern mutations enough?
(I realize that this isn't "new"; and that there are scaleless forms of several types of snakes...though the degree of "scalelessness" varies.)

I found some pics, and yup, that one was missing heat pits.
