    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Another morph question. First I'll explain, I've been away from the hobby for a good few years and have begun to think about starting again. I'm cooking up a VPI Axanthic Jigsaw project and the bug has bitten again! But there are SO MANY new morphs I know nothing about. And it's really hard to find good info on them. I frequent World of Ball Pythons, great pics but their descriptions of morphs/interactions is very lacking. So... looks like I'll be pestering this forum a bit...;)

I see that Sable and Granite look similar with Sable seeming to have richer hues. From the photos I've seen, it appears that Sable has more "blotches" of dark color in the "alien heads". What are your opinions on this (those of you familiar with many examples of both)? And is there anything anyone can tell me regarding either/both morphs before I decide which to go with?

I happen to have one of each :) They are both big females, and I may breed them next season. Not sure what I will do with the Granite, but plans are for a Pastel Champagne for the Sable.

They're beautiful! I think I like Sables better, but I see that when you cross each w/Mojave, you get very different results. I will have to look into this more.

Something also to consider when picking which to work with is that some sable combos, like sable spider or super sable, can have severe wobble issues. So it may also depend on what else you have in your collection.

I'm also not good enough to pick out a sable vs a granite vs a granite-like normal in a picture - colors can vary a lot depending on lighting. If I were buying one it would have to be from a breeder with a stellar reputation who would guarantee the animal's genetics.

I don't do spiders because of the wobbles- I was not aware that Super Sables could have them! Very good to know.

Always!

I think, like spiders, it's not something they all have, but it is something to be prepared for if you attempt a sable x sable pairing.
