I think there is a lesson to be learned. Any consignment deal should have each animal listed with a market price and a "no less than" price. It should also contain the cut or percentage the person taking the animals gets, or a price where the person taking the animals gets anything over "this" price. There probably should be a time limit on the deal, and what happens after the time limit is reached. A clause should be put in force stating that the trades need to be agreed on by each party, what happens to the traded for animals, and all agreements in the trade should be in writing.

Jordan took many thousands of dollars worth of my snakes to a show for me, did ME a favor, and it worked out for both of us. We just wrote up a list of the snakes, and a "not less than this" price.
