    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The most used and abused lines on ads!

I think my favorite is "hand picked". So do their competitors pick out animals with their feet? :rofl:

That has to be the one of my all time favorites to just plain skip the ad and move on.
 
"Don't miss out on this deal" Like it is the only one in the world.

Then next time you see the ad it says "reduced to sell".

I'm getting out of the snake business so I have this snake for sell. He is a smokin wild caught ball python of a RARE hardly seen morph that was hand picked from many others as he stood like a sore thumb. Best I have ever personally seen to date! There's something going on with this one, pictures do no justice. This was a personal holdback but must make room for new stock so shoot me an offer; maybe I'll even trade for other morphs, the worst I can say is NO! My loss is your gain, don’t miss out on this deal. One day sale only!

Well this kind of gies opposite the thread but my favorite was one I saw on KS a couple of years ago on Boas. "Normal Boas, Het for nothing, Just plain normal Boa Constrictors".
That one almost got me to buy something I did not need.
Luckily I have to clear all my purchases with my wife.
 
hmmmph - the ad didn't work, I've still got her. I even ran it for a little extra time. You think it was because I admitted that some of the statements were inaccurate?
