Yes I am viewing this thread, I personally didn't want to get into it cause I would rather speak to Joe personally which I have no problem doing. I know it sounds very strange that their is two people with the same name but i come from a Mexican family and we are named after uncles and grandparents etc, anyways back to the story. I did have what joe intended on buying and rarely do I list my animals on craigslist but i chose to for that particular snake. I listed it joe contacted me asking if I can ship it, i said yes I had no problem doing so. I didn't hear anything back therefore I decided to take it to a show. I ended up selling it and got an upgrade on my phone with my earning of that weekend . My cousin who is a 17 kid wanted to buy it off me, he's helped me clean cages and what not so I did. He wanted my music and some of my apps so he asked me if I can leave it as it. My mistake I did. I left everything except most of my pictures ,contacts and important stuff. My email is a very old one and I do not use that one cause I use to get 50 emails daily from spam. The first time I heard of this was labor day when we had a family bbq. My aunt and uncle asked me about this paperwork they received that was from Joe. I asked my cousin and he claimed he had no idea. The next day I received a txt from joe and immediately asked my cousin. He then told me what he did. His story is he received an email from joe saying something about a check, as a dumb and not so very smart kid he agreed and had joe send it. My uncle is the one with the key for the mailbox so he said he had it sent to the neighbors and he just simply went and asked for it. Thats how he got a hold of the check. Now i don't know specifics yet cause i was at work and couldn't talk to him for long. I then told joe that i would be happy to clear this up over the phone as grown men should. I am by no means a scammer nor do I or have ever lived at my uncles house that joe sent the check to. I am more then happy to show joe PROOF that it is indeed my uncles house with the exact same name as me i will also provide proof of where I live and my address. I am by no means trying to hide or runaway. I told joe clearly on the phone that i will speak to my cousin and his parents tonight to get his money back. This is the result of not deleting your info off your phone and sending payment over craigslist. And Julie with my new phone I linked my new email, i was tired of getting spam emails daily and that is a 8 year old email.
