Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This was, and is, the basic problem.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of unacceptable behavior.
It is NOT ok to try to quash a thread here by spouting incorrect legal information and threats. Trying to put the hush on everyone simply isn't going to work here, and some fake mumbo jumbo legal stuff just makes the party who does it look silly.
Mike has frogs and they are two months larger. He is taking care of them and has had ample opportunity to sell some of them and send Rick some money.
Rick does not want to accept frogs back, which accepting frogs back would have been reasonable except for, from what I understand of the posts, the apprehension about the large stock losses by Mike.
At this point, the transaction seems deadlocked by the parties themselves.
I think a reasonable course of action at this time would be for the parties to try one more time, without threats, or posturing, to find an acceptable solution.
It seems to me that if Mike's stock die off was not because of some infectious process but rather some bad food being given to them, since Mike has the frogs already, and to assuage any apprehensions on Rick's part, a sale should be easy, since Mike sells a lot of frogs, and then he could pay Rick what is owed. But the parties should work out an acceptable solution.

I'm not going to comment on any part of this thread other than this.....there is no one and I mean NO ONE in this entire industry more reputable and straight shooting than Bob Mailloux. Nothing else needs to be said. you arent going to see a response from Bob on the internet because Bob is not tech savvy. He doesnt text, he doesnt post on Facebook and I doubt hes ever personally read this site. I will convey whats going on here with him today though.

OK let's stay on course , I'm not willing to accept frogs that can possibly be contaminated and risk my collection of crested geckos from dying because Mike wants to be a child and not accept responsibilities for his actions and his word. The original amount I was to be paid would be $2,250 to the same paypal Mike and I have used the entire time for interaction. I offered him to pay me half of that , $1,125 since he wants to argue technicalities on prices and at this point knowing what type of person Mike is and at the hopes of at least recovering my initial investment I'd settle for that.
My posting about Blood Bank was a human error and I corrected it and that's all that needs to be said about that .

Rick, an offer accompanied by inflammatory language is not likely to win a positive response. At this point, the scales are turning and you are going to be burdened with some of the responsibility if the issue does not get solved.

Mike has my Paypal via private message because he as himself asked me and he as Cheyenne asked me and because I posted it here . If he pays me I'll be back to update that, if he doesn't I'll update this once a month so he has something he can share with his kids like his father shared with him.

and a thief ! I suspect that you are simply going to lose that money. Had you acted like a businessman, made an offer, there's still no guarantee of results, but if you are nasty and call names, you will for sure get no resolution and that will be on you.
While the BOI is certainly a place to express some negative feelings if you feel you've been done wrong, when you are putting an offer on the table for consideration, that's not the time to call names.
As can I. I think you are throwing a little tantrum here. For you to say that advice that doesn't totally agree with your perspective because the poster who hasn't suffered your loss and isn't behaving like you is ludicrous.
Check out the BOIs where the parties air their differences but then come to a satisfactory agreement and resolution. They may have badmouthed each other as they aired their initial point of view, but they don't do it when they are resolving the issue.

You know, I want to know what happened to those poor frogs. Does anyone remember that Mike said Rick sent them to him sick (which I highly doubt) and that they started dying off right away? Did not Mike admit himself that he had sick frogs at his facility? I personally have experience with Mike sending out sick frogs that will die on you, so in no way would I want him to send frogs back to be that are said to be sick and dying. Mike posted a pic of a bunch of boxes on a cart and said that they were being shipped back to Rick-- another lie I assume? If he kept them you can bet your bottom dollar he has sold them. He STILL selling, obviously, and he's still buying, so...?

I was wondering if Bob knew to truly what level Mike was a liar and a fraud... Bob would have a huge case against this guy himself, if he wanted to pursue it. I can understand his just wanting some peace and just be done with Mike's crap though

Petco? Interesting. Mike was throwing Petco's name in my face and saying they could squash me like a bug... For what?? The frogs in question at the time were not from Petco, they were shipped to me directly from Mike. He said they were from Sandfire's facility, not his, so basically any sickness was not his fault and to contact Bob. That's how Mike shows his gratitude to folks who help him out...? Disgusting.

If you boil it down a LOT of people have a case against Mike. Is it worth the time and effort and money to go after him? Maybe, maybe not, depends on what you are hoping to gain from it. I doubt anyone will ever get any satisfaction from that guy. The best that can be hoped for is people finally wise up and see the back of him out of the industry.

Kind of lost on what you're referencing here Lucille. I didn't bring anything up. This was my response to the statement of bob having grounds to sue mike matson. There's no point in wasting time and money on it.
