    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Are you insane..? For the most part, I kept my mouth shut regarding my opinion of this situation when this thread was first posted, but no more.

ALL of this is YOUR fault!
1) You left your animals to be cared by a "friend" rather than take them with you when you moved.
2) When you did get money, did you send for your animals? NO! You went and bought new ones instead!
3) Not only did you NOT pay the person keeping them for the cost of their upkeep, you decided to completely throw decency, good taste and gratitude out the door (EXACTLY as you have done here) and pick a fight with the "friend" who was keeping your animals.
4) Seeing as how you STILL haven't bothered to save enough money to have your animals shipped to you, a FC member was kind enough to try and help you and in return you slap his generosity in the face!
5) Finally, this ENTIRE situation is a result of your inability to act in a responsible manner. If you cannot be responsible, you have no business taking in animals to begin with!

YOU are responsive for YOUR PROBLEMS! I suspect that this is something you failed to learn in your formative years, as these problems seem to be reaccuring events in your life, but the sooner you learn it, the better!

FURTHER, this thread and (more importantly!) how you have acted here will be a permenant record for anyone (prospective employers, love interests, JUDGES...) to see! You need to slow your roll and think REAL hard about the things you have posted here!

All in all, it is YOUR responsibility for those snakes.

1. You chose not to take them when you were moving, but could buy more animals while someone else took care of the ones that you didn't want to take with you. Then you and that person decided to be children about the way things were being handled and bring it to this forum.

2. Where another member of the forum said that he would be the responsible party for those snakes until you got on your feet. Once you were on your feet and actually decided that you wanted your animals back, he requested that you pay to have them shipped to you, which is actually minimal when you think about how much money you could have been paying out the rear-end to have those animals boarded.

3. You then get upset that he requested you pay shipping to get YOUR animals, and are now saying that he took horrible care of the animals and HE is the one that made them sick by not taking care of them...Total BS.

Grow up, take some responsibility for YOUR actions that caused this domino affect on YOUR animals. This world is not here for your free-for-all and the quicker you learn that, the better off you'll be. Your animals are your responsibility and no one else's. If you can't take care of them, then give them to someone who can and don't gripe about it.
 
I have completely forgotten about this, forgotten about her, and have not once tried to message her since the animals were handed to Keith. I live how she tries to say all the animals I have comes from my son's money, not true. None of his money touches my animals, it goes to things he needs and bills. Like when athena was sick, she was supposed to help but didn't so I sold my ps3 to get that snake to the vet. All her snakes were fed, cleaned, watered, etc and treated like my own animals. I took care of those animals for free for 9 months. And she is still trying to drag my name threw the mud. Whatever happened months ago, I don't care about but obviously she hasn't let go. She is now targeting Keith but I'm the bad friend? Ok.

I apologize for the way I may have handled this thread. But she's obviously not changed, doesn't want to change, and is trying to steal money back from Keith and has never posted proof of sick snakes that I can see.

Malea, keep my name out of your mouth, and please answer me this if you blocked me how am I in your inbox constantly? Just another lie from you.

I have moved on with my life and been trying to do better maybe you should too. I never wanted to keep those animals and me handing them off to Keith should have been proof of that, now Keith and everyone gets to see how you really handle things when they don't go your way.

It sounds like you are learning from your experiences and moving forward, Elexis, which is great. Many if not all, well grounded, mature people did not start out that way, but learned to improve themselves through their mistakes. Just keep at it, glad you have been clear of this mess for a while.

Many kudos to Keith for putting the snakes first and I'm so sorry you've gotten caught in malea's quagmire. You're a rescue, helping her out and she acts like you are some kind of concierge service to cater to her. "Rating" how you did things, not that I believe her anyway, but wow. Just wow at the level of entitlement and lack of insight.

What a fun read. Commendations to Kieth for caring for the animals and doing a great job of running his rescue. Alea and Elexis have proven themselves both volatile and childish and will not receive any business from me personally, now or ever.

What is that even supposed to mean? Can people let this thread die already? Keith came back to post her animals were sent back, she didn't respond till days later when someone called her a scitzo? Or however you spell it and then accused him of sending them back sick (never providing proof either) and then preceeded to file charge backs on the payments. She blew up, spread more lies about me and Keith. Yet people still want to call me the childish one when I admitted I have done some wrong here, apologized, and have been trying to move on.

Emotions ran high, I felt I was being accused of trying to keep the snakes which several of the comments said "you're trying to justify keeping them" which I was not. I was trying to figure out of they should be considered abandoned at that point since she did say to keep them "they're your problem now" and was purchasing new animals every time she got enclosures that were supposed to be for the ones I had. I kept my cool the entire 9 months of caring for them for free, trying to send 3 back and told no then have those 3 cages filled with new animals, she blew up over something that had nothing to even do with me and I still refuse to post what that reason was because it had nothing to do with me and I'm not petty like that.

The only reason she got those animals back was because she had to have Keith sell one of them to pay for the shipping, they accidentally handed off the wrong one, then fixed it and she still complained about it.

If I'm childish for being upset from all I endured with her, being told I was just trying to keep them when I didn't want them, etc then fine, but this was what 6-7 months ago? Some people do change and I have been trying to, been trying to put all of this behind me, but every time I open fauna now it's dredged back up with me being called childish and that you won't do business with me, that's fine don't do business with me. I have an awesome boa litter coming up and I'm sure plenty of people will be interested in them. I'm not going to let 1 incident with someone who was supposed to be my friend and used the crap out of me hold me back. If she wants to be bitter and spread lies (like that I gave her snakes mites when Keith even said they were all clear of mites that they never had them and it was a spec of bedding that he thought was a might) and that I used my kids money for animals then that's on her, she's continuing to show the childish behavior not me. Now please let this sleeping dog lie.

I really hate to dredge this back up but I made a post in the general bs forum about my Facebook being reported as a fake, I made a new one under the same name and later got back into my old one, I have the old one now as a spare in case this should happen again well I made a new like page C&O Constrictors, malea has obviously had people watching me to even know I had a new page let alone new like page yet she says I'm the one stalking her and is now threatening child protection on me for no reason whatsoever ever, funny she doesn't know I moved and doesn't have my address. She also is using a fake name and fake location on the fb page she used but the picture is her. Going to post the screen shots from the website so it attaches, can't attach from Tapatalk for some reason

Mod team I apologize I didn't realize that middle screen shot had profanity in it, I didn't see that top reply when I screen shotted it yet I'm glad it's there because shes threatening legal action against me and children services for something I've never done. After this thread I completely forgot about her. I do not understand why she is still so obsessed with me

Elexis, those who threaten legal action are in the vast majority of cases full of it and doing it only to try to get a reaction. Don't let her succeed in getting a reaction, she is not worth it.
People who actually want to take legal action just do it, they don't swing from trees like monkeys yelling 'I'm gonna get a lawyer'.

As far as children's services, who I had many experiences with while I was a school nurse, they are over worked and under paid. If they get a report, first they determine if it is something they need to look into. Even if they do, it is no big deal, just tell them the truth. If you are worried, PM me.
