    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm thankful that he does. I would probably be doing the same thing if I were in that situation. If you do something really crappy to someone and you don't completely fix it, then dont expect the problem to just *poof* and disappear.
Deal with your issues right as they happen, and then you don't have to worry about them coming back to bite you later on.
 
Been out of the game for a bit, came across an ad Mike posted and wanted to remind anyone thinking of buying from Mike to use extreme caution. He has never made thing right with me and would hate to see someone else make the mistake I made by dealing with him. There are many reputable sellers out there, Mike isn't one of them. Take your money elsewhere.

Reading through all of your responses, you were a POS flipper trying to get something for nothing.

The sad thing is that there were so many red flags in those early communications, and David didn't heed them. I would have asked for a dozen pictures, health guarantees and references.

But....

You should have sent him back his animals the very next day that he asked for them. Your so-called solutions were terrible. You had one thing to do to make it right.

The fault on David's part was that he trusted you enough to not trade with you without knowing for sure what he was getting.

You're a dumb@$$, lying, terrible stain on the reptile community. A stand up person would never have sent the sick, mite infested ETB's to anyone....

This thread might be forever old, but because of I would never trust you with any type of transaction.

10 years later and the BOI is still warning people of negligent unethical "people" like Michael K. Losey.....good job, because he will carry his past actions around as he should.

Some might forget, but the BOI doesn't. ;)

Dear -1 rated trader...

Any opinions formed here strictly based off what was posted by the person you screwed over are extremely valid, that is why the BOI exists. Hopefully it will detour a lot of business that would have went your way. Hopefully it runs you out of keeping reptiles all together, one can hope anyway.

I'd love to take upon myself to watch for your ads either here on on Kingsnake and then bump this thread to the top each day. I mean, if my opinion is so worthless, that shouldn't bother you...

In the 27 years I've been keeping and breeding animals I've seen flippers like you come and go. What keeps driving you? If I were half the POS you are I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

It's a shame there's such sleeze bag people in the reptile community willing to take advantage of people.
 
Problem with general expectations for conduct, Chris? Feel free to voice your grievances regarding the on-topic party, but do so with some care. Little jabs are natural, but overly abusive labeling/address becomes unwelcome. This is not exclusive to you.

I reached out to Mike to see if we could we could resolve the issues with our transaction. I happy to report that Mike Losey (HerpMasters Inc) and I have reached a resolution and I consider the transaction finished and the matter closed. For Mike to do this I believe shows good character and a giant step in the right direction. I've seen photos on his Facebook page of some of his animals and they look happy and well cared for. I wish Mike the very best with his future endeavors and I harbor no ill feelings.

I still wouldn't trust him, maybe that's just me. It took him a decade to make something right should have been fixed the day you asked for it to be fixed. He sent you animals that were mite ridden, dehydrated WC's with internal parasites....I mean, ANYONE in the business would look at those animals and say "Wow, those WC's are in are in bad shape...." or "Wow, those CB's were neglected to the point of death...."

He knew what he had and he chose to lie and try to pass them off onto you.

It might be 10 + years later, but he could have the holy grail of pythons for sale right now at the best price possible and I wouldn't go near it with a 10 foot pole just based off how he handled himself all that time ago.

People don't change their spots very often. If he had morals and high standards to keep his animals healthy, happy and thriving it would show in ALL his dealings, past and present.

I was the first person outside Australia to produce Albino Carpets. I produced about 400 babies until I sold my project. EVERY single transaction and animal sold I gave 110% attention to in order to keep the customer happy and the animal healthy. It's not hard to be a stand up guy if your heart is in the right place. I never misrepresented an animal in order to make a buck.

Might just be me, but I highly doubt he's a stand up guy. It's more likely he wants this thread to go away so he can keep selling animals without this hurting his sales.
 
You are so wrong.

You seem to think that I make my living selling animals on here. I am a hobbyist that has an interest in different reptiles. When I need to make room for another project then I sell some to make room. All animals are treated as my pets and if I had the space I would not sell any. So whether you think I am a stadholder guy or not is not going to effect me in the least. I did the right thing with David. Yes it took a while and I should have never passed on those Emeralds. Live and Learn. As far as any dealings with you, I have never had any and don't desire any so once again you are commenting on things you know nothing about.
