In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Scam Artist Keven Vogenberger

Now, it may totally be my lack of experience with frogs, and if someone comes onto this thread and lets me know that this is in fact a Australian Thunder-Thighed Tree Frog, I will apologize profusely.

I've never heard of that type of frog....

Without more pictures, I cannot say for certain, but it looks like a White's tree frog & their legs are not supposed to look like that.

When I get home I will post more pics. I definitely want to know if there is something wrong with him. If he is normal I would like to know that before I spend money on a vet trip! Anybody that has experience with frogs I would really be grateful for any information about this little guy! As I stated before I was told it was normal from the pet store.

Again with trying to pass off health problems/deformities as something new or different. Just stop trying to pawn off sick animals onto unsuspecting people. And if you truly aren't being malicious, get out of selling animals as you obviously cannot differentiate between healthy and sick animals.

Have you or have you not tried to sell animals on two separate occasions with significant health issues/deformities? This isn't opinion. You are either a scam artist or you really suck at this whole "identifying and keeping animals healthy" thing. Your attempts at trying to duck any responsibility and just let all this slide off your back lead me to believe it's the former.

Ok I've had one complaint from a customer out of 400 sales. The girl that filed this complaint cooked her uromastyx! So yes it's your opinion!

Maybe do some research before purchasing an animal (like that frog) and you'd know that that REALLY isn't normal at all.

So you did not attempt to sell a chameleon with obvious MBD or a White's tree frog with some seriously deformed legs from either disease or genetic issues?

Why would you buy an animal if you don't even know what it is, much less how to care for it? It's been said before, but it bears repeating: If you can't tell that something is wrong with that frog, you have no business selling animals.

I trusted what the pet shop told me. So I didn't feel there was any reason to research. I asked about the legs and they said that's how the specie comes. I'm researching it now and still can't find anything. I have come across species of frogs that their legs look like that. I would love anyone's input about the frog not just trying to poke jabs and be mean!

I have just scanned hundreds of images of whites frogs and can not see anything remotely looking like that.
Quick scans of illness suggest edema from kidney failure with humane euthanasia being recommended action.
Edema can be brought on by a huge number of things, unclean living conditions, dirty water, vitamin toxicity, nearly all signs of very poor husbandry.
If you truly bought this and 3 others looking the same from a pet store you need to name that store here and right now!

Over the course of 10 yrs selling animals, I can honestly say I never sold one that was visibly ill. There was one that developed a resp infection a couple of weeks after I sold it and that person was made whole. You've been doing it for like three months and are having issues with this. I must have gotten very lucky since you apparently are a reputable and knowledgeable animal keeper who would never do any such thing purposefully and it's just been a huge coincidence that it's happened twice in such a short span. Maybe when I had boas born with an underbite or a stubby tail, I should have used your tactic and labeled them some special animal and sold them for full price instead of finding them nice pet homes. It would have been smart of me as a businessman, huh?

Ok well I'm not gonna just euthanize this frog cause you said so! I will try to do everything i can to save it! If there's even something wrong with it. The pet store is discount pets. I'll tell you one thing you wouldn't talk this way to me If you were in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not ok to just trust whatever the seller tells you and turn around and pass the animal on with no real knowledge. Not all sellers are honest, you have to do your own research.

Keven, both times you've been caught trying to sell a sick animal (this and the chameleon), your excuse has been "I don't know anything about chameleons!" "I'm not a frog person!" How about building a business around the animals you ARE familiar with? You would be able to avoid this kind of problem.

Keven, everything about you and your operation is completely and totally wrong.
you really need to find a job so you can stop killing the herps that come across your greedy fat hands.

You know nothing about the herps you are flipping, you can not even identify a sick frog.hell you can't identify a toad. remember me calling you out because you called a toad a reptile in an ad?

Selling for three months your on drugs I've been selling reptiles for years. You don't know what your talking about! Anyway I'm gonna take the little guy to the vet tomorrow and find out what's wrong with him. As far as all the rude comments keep them coming make this as entertaining as possible!! So everyone gets there fill of drama!!!!

By all means, please post that vet paperwork when you are done. And don't tell us that you took it to a vet when you in fact had a phone consult with a vet tech.
