    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sorry about the rant!
Honestly, I am just as confused as you are. In his email weeks ago he told me he was "going" to buy a boa in a few weeks... "No problem, Just let me know when you are ready" I told him... then weeks later he responds with that post of incorrect statements??
Trust me... I would like an explaination too! He seems to put "value" on fancy printed certificate's. I am just not a photoshop guy. So I do not offer them. As for fakes? Actually, I have two piles. A few from the actual breeders who did take the time to provide them. All are correct and frankly are from the best breeders out there! But I have another pile of certificates that people have sent that are "second hand" from resellers trying to cash in on sombody else's hard earned reputation. Most of those did not check out. And I did not buy from them. That's why I do not trust certificates. Now, how we got to his comments... Well....like I said I am just as confused as you are.
 
Finally, a way to get a hold of this "Troy Lee" character. Not wanting anything to do with morph"crap"market, and not seeing anything on FB. LOL! Been thinking about adding the blood gene, to throw in more red.:yesnod:

Perhaps you could share your correspondence with the seller you decided to go with. I'd be interested in seeing what ad, credentials and background sold you on that seller. Especially the actual date of your first correspondence. Just curious. Thanks in advance!

Please keep this thread related to Troy.

Rich posted in the boa forum some generic questions about this without mentioning who the seller was. I hesitate to speak for Rich but since he hasn't responded yet, it sounded like was wanting genetics guaranteed on paper. Troy mentioning having 'fake paperwork' threw up red flags. Reading this current BOI, it sounds like a simple miscommunication IMO. On who's part though, I do not know.
 
I couldn't disagree more. Judging from what I've seen here, the answers to my questions would prove whether or not there was an ulterior motive for not only starting this thread, but also being accusatory without presenting proof of his allegations regarding the integrity of the stock he passed up. I'm pretty sure the OP would be happy to share this info, thus killing two birds with one stone (good guy endorsement for the actual seller).

Let me say it again...WOW!!! That's a Nice Scoria Boa!
And Yes!! I would absolutely love to help you with that project.
If the "Scoria Legends" are correct the blood gene is probably already in your Scoria boa. I know people are working on the "Bloody Scoria" morph (why does that sound painful???)
But I have not seen one posted yet?
Hopefully they will (or you?) could pick a better name for what I think will be the next hot new Boa morph coming up.

I have no problem sharing my private email conversations with Rich. I stand behind EVERYTHING in them. I am not sure how or if even if its appropriate to do so in this forum window. I actually spent a lot of time and went into great detail about my animals genetics! There is about 8-10 pages of text. So I will either ask the advice of the moderators on how to proceed... or for simple impartial accuracy. I ask that they review the emails personally and either, summarize, post relevant portions or post them all. If there is any legality's related to privacy laws I waive them and give the moderators full access to any activity on Fauna related to me.
At first thought this was personal?
But I am not the first good reptile breeder he has callously thrown under the bus!
I will point to two threads he started before getting to me.
Check his BOI post about Joe Oswald at DNA a few days earlier... Another disparaging and unsubstantiated claim against another Blood boa breeder.
Second there was the "Who is this guy called Morphmarket" thread.

That led to this thread...

Chris Kennard totally got it right... Something reeks Here!!

Hey James,
Thank you for sharing the post about Al Brown. I think it speaks volumes on its own!!
The only thing Al Brown did wrong there was "being nice"
I purchased 5 boas from Al Brown a few years back. I still have all five and they are doing great!!!
He was awesome to deal with, good at answering all my questions, Provided pictures etc. etc.
AL Brown is a great guy to work with. I rate him as an A+ Seller!

My biggest fear was that I might actually have to decide "not" to sell to this individual because I felt "no" boa in the world could live up to his expectations. (Yep.. one of those guys)
After reading what he put Al through... I will NOT be doing business with him.. No matter how many silver bars he has...lol Check out his post in trading/bartering section.

I'm not for sure what you are saying here. If what you are saying is that you have some certificates that you simply will not perpetuate and stand behind because you are not sure of them and do not want to damage your customer then I honor you for that. Some of the biggest scandals in the past couple of decades around here have to do with het scams. If what you are trying to do is prevent that sort of thing, I appreciate that.
