I'm not agreeing with "Roger", just pointing out he did post a daughter's name and age (which, frankly I also disagree with ... her name and age is really not relevent. I saw the posts at theTegu Bob made. They absolutely reeked of threats to me, even if he wants to backpeddle now. I also saw a post this morning where he tried to apologize)
 
Although I do feel for her (whoever she is) and what she is going through now, I don't feel we here on Fauna really needed to be lied to.

Once someone lies to me and I find out the trust takes a LONG while to kick back in again.

I mean, would we really have had that hard a time with it if she had just said that she had had a relationship (of some sort) with Bob and that she is now afraid because she found out what a fruit loop he is?

I know I wouldn't.

He already knew her "real" name, so there was no need to hide it here. He already knew where she lived as he sent the snakes to her.

She was playing with fire on the internet. Having fun with your life and being proud of yourself and your body is a great thing. I think everyone should be comfortable in their own skin, BUT like she found out, you really don't know just who is on the other end of that webcam or looking at your pictures. There are many people who went to meet their "special someone" from the net who are not alive now to tell about it. Thank God she never went to meet him.

If anything, I hope she learned that not only herself but her children could be hurt by the things she does on the net (or anywhere else for that matter).

She could have found the same amount (or perhaps better) support here if she just laid out all her cards on the table initially.

I still feel for her and what she has to go through with "The Fruit Loop" and sincerely hope that she gets the authorities to really do something about him before he hurts her or someone else.

He can say he didn't threaten her or her children, but the things he wrote and the way he wrote them led me to believe that's exactly what he did.

Lisa, Marissa, Marie? I still feel for you, Hun, and I am glad you let folks know he's still out there being his usual charming self, but it'll take just a bit for the chapping to heal on my backside with the lying.

And Deb, I don't believe she deliberately shook anything to get Bob to do what he did. He used her just as he uses everybody...for his own ends. He states he has no conscience and I am inclined to agree. He has no moral compass and it's ALL about him in his world. I have no doubt he would do anything to anybody should the opportunity present itself for him to get just what he, and he alone, wants.

He is incapable of love and would not recognise it if it bit the end of his nose off. Heck, in the very e-mail he writes that he sent her the snakes because he "loves" her he disparaged both her and every woman on the planet in the very first sentence!

Lisa, Marissa (heck, I'd really love to know what to call you!) I hope you get this straightened out. I hope you've learned that lying to those you've asked for help or sympathy is not the way to go about things. Please post how this all has worked out for you.

While I am a little sore about feeling decieved, it won't last forever. You have a home here on Fauna, if you so choose, you just have to be honest with us.
 
Forest for the trees...

I always use a proxy to surf the web. It cuts down on spam and garbage. I did not see in the rules here that is a violation. Just my choice to use. I used to have to get computer geeks to fix my computers with all the garbage I got. now - I no longer have that problem because of this proxy service I subscribe to. You should check it out. It cuts way down on crap.

My post - first - are accurate. Marissa has posted pics - nude ones - as her avitar on RG for as long as I've been a member there. The owner forced her to remove them because there are a lot of kids on there. Marissa's 12 year old daughter is a member of both RG and thetegu. She has her age posted as 12 on RG. She sent Sloan a reply yesterday and signed it "Celeste". I'm not trying to post anything on her that is not - or was not - posted publicly.

I am not Sloan. I just have experience with Marissa and she flirts with all the men on both sites. I can only say what I saw. And I saw the posts where Sloan stated he would never go near her or her kids and that everything he did would be legal. Sloan is in Hamburg/Levittown - according to his posts - and says he is filing suit on her. Sloan is BAD from the word go - but attributing threats to children falsely is just wrong. What is really funny is the amount of time this thread has wasted in total.

I'd leave you with this question - where is Marissa Miller/AKA angelrose/ AKA Lisa/ AKA maria ?

If he apologized, he did not do it here, which is where he made the statement. I totally agree that people have the right to revoke earlier statements and explain why they are doing so. However, if they want to revoke comments they should do it on the forum within which they made them. In this instance this was not done, nor was there even a reference to the explaination you claim.

Also consider that Marissa is a moderator and she clearly altered what Sloan posted. I saw the first post and then the posts where someone deleted some of what was written there to make it look like he was threatening her. Also, she was still contacting Sloan via e-mail the day she started this thread. He posted those e-mails on thetegu, but Marissa deleted them. I saw those as well. In one for example - he said he would see her and the girls at the Bus stop Monday. What she deleted was that they had discussed this meeting and she agreed to it, but deleted these things to make us think he was threatening her kids. Self serving. And, if sloan is the coward you all say and never shows up or follows through on his threats, why would he suddenly do it now and risk arrest. does not ad up to me. She said she was sorry she did not call him before he left for Hamburg and to call her when he got there. Apparently he called her cause she posted his cell here for all to see.

Again, I'm not taking sides, but these two deserve one another and she has used us all to waste our time and scream some more about Sloan. That's just stupid to fall for it - myself included. There is much, much more to this than what you Sloan haters think. Marissa is just as bad and you might be next. Form your own opinions, but I for one do not think She is the wounded girly in distress.

I will have to disagree, theres no way you can she is "just as bad"..where are the threats she made against his life, property, pets, and family ?

I have dealt with "crackhead" Sloan and hes nothing but a loud mouth, who likes to bully people. And as long as you are intimidated by his tactics ...he will just hound you.

I believe this is Sloan for sure. This person seems to know a lot more of the situation than anyone else.

I was watching thetegu.com thread go down between Sloan and Lisa/Marissa and Sloan absolutely made threats about her children. I wish I took screen shots.

I remember one thread Sloan started with the heading "What does burnt apt and tegu smell like..." and then the inside said "Maybe Marissa will tell us."

Notice that space at the end of each sentence. Before the punctuation. I don't know to many people who put a space before the punctuation. But Sloan does under all his alias. Here is just a few recent examples but it is the same if you read all his past posts.

I would like to correct my post about the thread I remembered Sloan posted. I was close but it seems my memory was a little off.

I also noticed that both those people use- the hyphen alot.. I've never seen someone use it that much?? Seems to be the same writing style.

I like my name for him better...Bob "the nob" Sloan. I heard that's what they called him in prison. If he does come to Florida you better let me know Jim and I will do the same for you.
