The animals I have purchased ,SO FAR, from Dan are:

0.2 Vipera xanthina
0.2 Naja pallida
1.0 Vipera ammodytes

Dan was extremly nice in every way during the transactions. He helped me out for set ups and breeding information. (Went out of his way and mailed me a couple journals for free).

The snakes are absolutely amazing. V.ammodytes male has some orangish/red tint to him and he is absolutely to die for. V.xanthina girls are absolute pigs and both are getting big and N.pallidas are the best feeding baby cobras I have ever kept. I will attach some pictures when I have time.

As a side note:ALL ARRIVED PARASITE FREE AND CORRECTLY SEXED!

As for financial issues, let me tell you a short story so that you can understand what kind of a guy Dan is. I was buying a couple snakes from him on a month to month payment basis but due to an unforseen accident, I needed some money for dental work and could not keep paying him so he refunded my previous payments without any problems instantly! Most people would just say that "those payments are to hold the snakes" and nobody can do anything about it.

When I actually wanted to start a thread here about all this, he said "You don't need to waste your time." So I don't think he cares a lot about what is written here. Assuming he tells his buyers to write about him is out of order.

He might have a couple issues with a couple people and every businessman that deals with 1000s will have some problems but I can put my personal reputation on the line for Dan/DTS and will encourage everyone to buy from him.

And I will not say no if he sends that tree viper to me as payment for this post :dgrin:

Keep up the good work Dan, we need your kind in this business.

For all I know, half these so called coin experts raise a cricket and frog and feed the cricket to the frog and are make expert comments here and I am not sure who to give credit to, the so called expert or frog.

Max Anthony is my full name. Well as much as anyone here needs to know about me. Seems like this forum breeds probably a lot of critical info on people that is utterly non-factual. Now i've never read anything about Dan so my purchase can be considered a total random sampling of the way he does business and from my experience (and i've bought herps from a dozen or so different guys over my life) I can tell you he is top notch all the way. And NO HE DID NOT ask me to post here. I offered to give him a testimonial for his website or anywhere that might help.

Sure there are always those who you can't please in business no matter what you do and sure there are always going to be haters, but let the haters miss out on doing business with good people who have a good product. And anyone else who judges this seller based on non-factual evidence is just losing out so forget em'.

I have to very specific beautiful snakes from Dan that I've been waiting years for. So I'm very pleased.

You chide people for basing their opinions on "non-factual evidence" but admit not having read the mountains of information pertaining to Dan. Had you done so, you would realize that the negative opinions of him are based on facts as well as Dan's own conduct.

For example, it is a fact that Dan tends toward psychological instability. It is also a fact that Dan has had a handful of transactions that went south, which were then handled poorly.

Given enough sales, anyone's going to have a transaction or two that go bad- it's just the nature of the beast. The measure of character is how one conducts themselves in such a circumstance, however. Dan has consistently demonstrated a lack of character or integrity when faced with such a situation.

Now, I don't believe that anyone's contesting that he can offer nice animals. However, the same, if not better, quality can be easily obtained from someone who is mentally and emotionally stable.

The most damning thing for Dan hasn't been customer complaints. It's been his tendency to act like a petulant child.

Critical Bill: The fact that you out of the gate accused Dan of baiting a good-guy post is not just an insult to him but an insult to me and clearly shows some latent hostility on your part and obvious ignorance of the facts.


Now then....

If you went to a good resturant and said "I'm very pleased with your cooking and service here, may I leave a positive comment somewhere?" and then they told you a specific place where feedback could be left, wouldn't you go there and leave that resturant positive feedback? I asked if I could leave him positive feedback or a positive comment somewhere and then he responded by suggesting that this would be the place.

It has only taken me a few minutes to realize that there are people spending wayyyy to much time on this site looking to nit-pick and down talk people for reasons that have nothing to do with business transactions. That is clearly against the rules of this forum, which even I (as a total newb here) read! If you have had past problems with this seller bring them up in your own thread. :angry: This is my positive testimonial. I'm not here to debate Dan's personality, judge him on how he spends his weekend or what his favorite sports teams are, this is solely about how he performs a business transaction. So to some of those making ridiculous negative comments and purposefully miscontruing my purpose here or Dan's, please step off, and take your anti-Dan/DTS criticism out of this thread because it's foolish, unnecessary and unwarranted.

This is RIDICULOUS! Are you a trained psychotherapist? If not then you really should never say such things about anyone, ever! This should almost be considered defamation of character. Do you have factual and legal doccumentation of Dan's psychological temperment? No?? Then what are you doing! I mean your a "moderator"?!?!? Shouldn't you be moderating and not trying to make something bad out of a positive testimonial. I mean give me a break! I can't testify to Dan's previous posts nor his previous sales, but when you come into one of his good-guy posts and talk a bunch of crap your basically standing in the way of someone doing good or trying to do better and in the way of him trying to make future sales. This is why businesses don't let one negative customer stand in the middle of their store with a bullhorn.

Really i've only been to this site 3 times now and i'm rather appauled at how it's run.

Please utilize the SEARCH function as much as possible before starting a new thread (topic line). In many instances, it is much better to continue an existing thread rather than starting a new one in order to preserve continuity in the information about a person or business. Most readers are much more inclined to read a single long thread, rather than dozens of smaller ones scattered all over the BOI. So don't let your message get lost in the clutter by ignoring this simple rule.
I understand that you were pleased with your transaction with Dan, and have no problems at all with you posting about it...but don't tell others to post their own thread, because this one is yours. You are new here, Dan & exploits are not.

Bottom line, Chuck has a way with wording things that SEEM to escape the reality of what's posted by him, and most are blind to what he's really posting/saying. But what he post's about people are hateful and deceiving, cunning, and funny, but, without merit/truth.

Yes I missed the part of searching through other threads. My bad. But would adding one positive post in a thread really equate to any significant change, I mean what with all the gossip, hostility, elitism, and bickering many of you got going on? lol

Really all that needs to be said is that I bought snakes from Dan/DTS and it was A+ all the way.

Now I didn't post this to start world war 3, but rather give kudos where kudos is due.
 
btw, I'm well aware of the history between Dan & Chuck...and Chuck & you, for that matter.
That's why I'm here right now, as opposed to doing any of the handful of chores I still have left to finish tonite. I've already removed one person, just waiting for the next one to step up to the plate.
