In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Dan of DTS Herp Inc is for Viper Boas

Mike, you are full of crap. I admitted to selling boas to a guy who produced a report that said an exam he had on an animal reported IBD. But that report was not verified on the snake I shipped nor was the date of shipping and the report jive, so it was not a report on the snake I shipped. Much less, the man got his refund the same day he got the strangled boa, and he reported his snakes in great shape. As a matter of fact, I am shipping him a pair of boas this week.

You are a professional at twisting words. Had I thought any snake had any disease, it would be treated and or put down. To imply otherwise is nonsense.

Jim

You have it all wrong again.

Are you saying you stayed another evening in South Miami to wait for me to drive 3 hours round trip to meet you after I told you I was not interested to meet you? What kind of a nut are you?

I suggested you can view the animals you were interested in at a business and you kept mentioning parking lot. I again told you 10 times we can meet in a business and you kept mentioning parking lot. Did something happen bad to you in a parking lot? Why did you keep mentioning parking lot?

I sell dozens of reptiles each week and cannot keep up with the biz and either have to hire someone or cut back. If that bothers you, then get a shrink.

I have sold thousands of reptiles and never had a single legitimate complaint about them. Can you produce such statistics on your sales? Nope.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

Hey Ray, I see you reading.
Don't allow Jim in your place.
He is a nut who likes to return animals.

.

Dan, he has not made any attempt to visit me (that I am aware of). But should he chose to purchase venomous snakes from me, he is welcome to come do so, just as any licensed person is welcome. If he has a valid reason to return the animal, I am always happy to take it back (as I have with you when you needed to return snakes for whatever reason). I would much rather him come to my facility than meet at "some business" to show and or sell venomous snakes (which I hope you both know is ILLEGAL unless you have the $10,000 exhibit bond attached to your permit---which you don't). Please use wisdom when doing things like that. That can hurt the hobby far more than you might realize (not to mention the harm it would do to you if you got arrested and lost your permits, and then all your sales and animals).

I appreciate the heads-up. I don't know Jim (or do I?), but I welcome his business as much as yours and anyone elses.:)

Thanks
Ray Hunter

Dan, please forgive me in advance, but I am laughing histerically at the thought of me carting over 300 venomous snakes (including King Cobras in excess of 10 feet) into the local Walmart to show Jim (or whoever) and make a sale. :raspberry:raspberry

Sorry, buddy, but I just can't help the visual.

Ray Hunter

Ray:

Perhaps you may wish to read Jim's previous post several pages back as he discussed stopping by your place Wednesday (today).

And I am not required by law to have a bond to allow someone with a VRL permit to visit. And the business does have the required bond.

We can discuss later or tonight so give a call if you wanted.

Hey Ray, I see you reading.

Don't allow Jim in your place.

He is a nut who likes to return animals.

Sorry again, Dan, but since you brought me into this..... If you have the certification to call this man a "nut", WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU POSSIBLY BE WILLING TO SELL HIM A DEADLY SNAKE????????? If I am not comfortable with someone's mental status or competence to responsibly own a venomous snake, I will politely decline the transaction.

Please, for all our sake, use good discretion.

Ray Hunter

Ray:

I just saw your previous post?

Cart what? Cobras? What cobras? He did not inquire about a cobra?

The man asked to view a pair of young rock rattlers and I told him I would arrange that at a business that had a bond.

So I am not sure what gave any impression I would take a cobra to a parking lot or walmart?

Ray:

Again, I think you are responding without reading all of the previous postings as I did the opposite of what you are implying. I did everything possible to not sell him a snake based on the fact he is a nut.

I was not aware of his plans to stop by. But if the snake is YOURS, and YOU are displaying it in ANY public location, then YOU need to have the exhibit bond because YOU are the snake owner, and YOU are displaying it. It is not legal for YOU to display under someone else's bond. If you still believe I am incorrect, please look into it with Florida Fish and Wildlife before you do it.

You did not understand my post. I was laughing at the visual of ME (not you) carting 300 venomous snakes into Walmart to show them to Jim (or whoever). Anyway, just be carefull to do whatever you do legally, and with wisdom.
Ray Hunter

Ray, you are correct and I have contacted fish and game on the issues to ensure any such issues are covered and fully understand a papertrail is important and transfer of sale would be to the business and then to the buyer from the business. Thanks.

Ray .... Myself and a friend was down to your place a few weeks ago (he purchased some Cobras and I picked up a Rattlesnake). He (my friend - Randy) is waiting on a shipment you are getting to pick up another Cobra .... He has already talked with you and since that shipment is not going to be in BEFORE we head down that way .... we won't be sopping at your place.

Dan ....

That is the pot calling the kettle black.

Sorry Dan, I do not believe that he is willing to go through all your garbage again, until he posts that he is doing so. Who in their right mind would purchase from someone who has sold them infected animals in the past?

What infected animal?

I never had any report of any sick or infected animal.

Why do you keep making claims to an infected animal? The report did not come from the snake I shipped. The snake lived 2 weeks and the report date was 3 days after it was received according to the FEDEX tracking documents which cannot be faked, so how could of it been my snake?

Regardless, I paid the man for the injured animal the day it arrived, so what is your problem anyway with me making great on an animal?

Forget the animals. Just explain in detail what kind are you anyway?

Mike

Give it up guy. You are arguing with a person who CAN'T possibly be wrong.

If he were caught standing over a bullet riddled body with a smoking gun, he would have some BS explanation about the corpse magnetically sucking the bullets out the barrel and into the body.

He would then claim that the corpse was a scammer that stole his bullets and had no legitimate complaint about being dead.

The evidence against him is absolutely overwhelming but he is clinically unable to acknowledge it.

You are arguing with an emotional brick wall.

Again...give it up and let Dan continue to reside in Scolaro Land. It is the only place he is capable of being happy. The reason is that it is the only place he is sure he is perfect.

I actually do feel sorry for the guy.

John:

Well Jim was a no show so lets not hope that you are also.

And don't blither any sorrow for anyone but yourself.

I never said I was perfect but your idiotic conjecture is confronted with the FACTS that I never sold a sick snake nor had a legitimate complaint. Either provide such proof or tuck tail and hide again.

As such, all of your blither backfired and the evidence showed I made great offers BEYOND the terms of sale.

But none of that is relevant to you. What is important for you is that you are held accountable.

And don't worry - Be happy - because the zhaos are on the way.

The proof is interlaced through every Bad Guy Thread (and the one or two Good Guy Threads) that are available in great quantity on this Forum. Unimportant to you since someone could tattoo the proof backwards on your forehead and offer you a mirror with which to read it and you still wouldn't get it. As I stated before...megalomania is a sad and destructive disorder.

Off to finish feeding the animals. You can now go back to admiring yourself in the mirror Dan

There is no evidence I did anything bad.

Those mere few threads are bogus and started by scammers who tried to bully for more than the terms of the sale despite I made great offers above and beyond the terms of sale.

If you think readers cannot fish through the BS spewed by the regular idiots here, then think again as people have contacted me indicating they read the threads and want to buy. So stick that up your big nose and stay out of other people's business and grow up.

The evidence is black and white. I shipped healthy animals and the customers reported receiving healthy animals. Later there was an issue after any guarantee was applicable, and I was QUICK to address the issue and offer items ABOVE and BEYOND the terms of sale.

So what is your problem with my great offers?

The problem is that you have squat behind your negative accusations and you know that you will be held accountable. You are full of garbage and your idiotic and pointless blither gets you know where.

Your opinion on any matter does not carry any weight and you are a full-fledged moron is all.
