Since you began this post taking about your honesty, lets try that again: For all of the other viewers of this thread, here is the truth…Bryan Lucas = Matt Tipton = Brandon Quinn = give me a few minutes and I’m sure I’ll remember all of the other aliases he goes by. For anyone who has had contact with you, once they know you are Matt Tipton, that is enough said.
However, I will address the issues you raised anyway. First of all, it is probably clear to anyone who reads your most recent post that this whole thread is really only designed to cause trouble. Why is that? Because for well over a year my father and I have indulged you by responding to thousands of emails from your various aliases in which you request hundreds of pictures, request payment plans and ask us to hold snakes for you. In many cases, we have done as you requested, only to get burned when the money never shows up. I have to say that my father is much more patient than I would be because I have told him, especially after reading about all of the other breeders you have played games with, to just stop responding to your emails since you only play games. We used to have absolutely no problem with people requesting photos, asking for payment plans, or even holding snakes for a few days, except people like you ruin it for everyone because you never follow through. That results in us being hesitant to enter payment plans and hold snakes for people. We have lost legitimate sales because we have given you the benefit of the doubt and held animals for you because you said the money order was in the mail, or you had to wait to get paid, or you would call when your phone service was turned back on, only to realize that you never sent the money and had no plans of actually buying the snake. We have sent you hundreds of pictures of animals that you claimed to be interested in only to realize that you were simply adding the pictures to your collection and were never interested in buying them. To my surprise, you did end up buying one sunglow from us a few months ago. It is the darker red one that is posted in the pictures above and that has the follow-up picture on the carpet. You NEVER voiced any disappointment with the boa you received and you have spoken with my father countless times since then. This is the first we have heard anything about this and since you claim to be honest, you should tell everyone the real reason you are posting…because you have been jerking us around again for several months, using several different names, asking us to hold animals for you and then never following through. When my father finally called you out and said that he’s not going to play games with you anymore, you became psychotic, sent extremely offensive and threatening emails to us, and then told us that you would “teach us a lesson” and we should check the BOI. That demonstrates to me that we should never have given you the benefit of the doubt and should have listened to the warnings of all the other breeders who have communicated with you and never trusted a word you said in the first place. Now you come on here acting like you are dissatisfied with your purchase. If that was the case, you should have told us months ago and we would have worked it out. This isn’t about that. It’s about you losing your mind and trying to damage our reputation by suggesting that my father and I are doing something shady with our photos.
Let me be clear, our photos are taken in our baby room, where we have UV lights and use a flash. The photos come out looking exactly how the snake actually looks at the time of the photo. The snakes do change as they mature, and I have stood next to my father at countless shows when he has said that “All sunglows and albinos fade as they grow. The object of the Lipstick line is to get an albino or sunglow that starts off super colorful so that it fades less into adulthood and will never become a yellow banana.” While I am sure that there are Lipstick sunglows that become more orangey as they grow, you can find plenty of people who will show you gorgeous red adult lipstick sunglows. I see one on the kingsnake forum that was posted on March 29, 2009 by SoCal-619. There is no benefit to us to misrepresent our animals because if any of our customers voice dissatisfaction about animals that they buy from us when they receive it in the mail, we always make it right. But, we can not read minds. If you don’t tell us you are unhappy, we don’t know and we can’t do anything about it. In fact, you were not dissatisfied…you were thrilled with the animal, but only now that you are angry do these allegations of misrepresentation arise and you don’t even have the nerve to do it honestly and use your actual name. I find this funny because every year we are in Daytona Beach (and this year we did a show in Virginia) where our animals are on display. We take every baby that is available to those shows. Do you think that we would have thousands of people looking at the animals in person and then go home and try to manipulate the photos of animals that people have already seen with their own eyes? That’s absurd.
If Paul Harb or the other person that bought the sunglow you posted pictures of were unhappy with the boas they bought from us once they had it in their hands, they certainly could have called us and told us that and we would have taken the animal back and given them a refund. We want our customers to be happy, that is the only way we do business and we are not so naive as to think that every single person is going to love our animals. I guarantee that if either of them had told us that they were unhappy we would have corrected the problem. But as I said, we can’t read minds and the buyer has to let us know if the animal is not what they expected or were looking for. The problem I have is with the suggestion that we are somehow altering the photos or misrepresenting our animals. That is absolutely not true, and we haven’t built the successful business that we have by being shady.
I could go on but as it is I just spent an hour of my time typing a response to someone who does nothing but lie, threaten and scam people. I just will not tolerate our reputation being dragged through the mud by someone like that. And for future reference, Matt Tipton: NEVER EMAIL US AGAIN, UNDER ANY NAME!!! I don’t care if you want to spend $100,000 on a snake. I will not do business with you.
